Chapter 17 - The Miracle of Love

The Fallen Wall of Pillows:

"Your simplicity, your humility, your every gesture is perfection... "

"I am proud, I am proud, my love is unparalleled..."

The wall of pillows and the cry of love—both of them surrendered to the embrace of night, and in their weariness, they drifted into a peaceful sleep.

When morning arrived, carrying the message of happiness and love, the scene had completely changed.

The wall of pillows had fallen, and Richer was sleeping peacefully in Ramish's arms.

Their faces glowed with the serenity of sleep. Neither of them realized when the wall had crumbled, or when Richer had slipped into Ramish's embrace.

Ramish slowly stirred awake. Half-opening his eyes, he felt someone's head resting on his chest. For a moment, his heart skipped, but then he quickly remembered—he was with Richer.

He opened his eyes fully, only to see Richer sleeping like an innocent child, his head nestled against his chest.

A wave of tenderness and love flowed through Ramish's heart. Without moving, he just lay there quietly, watching Richer's serene face. To Ramish, he looked like a utterly beautiful and angelic.

Moments passed until Richer, too, awoke from his slumber. The very first thing he noticed was that he was lying in Ramish's arms.

He slowly lifted his gaze toward Ramish, who was smiling at him with deep, affectionate eyes.

Richer immediately tried to pull away, but Ramish held him firmly and smiled.

"Richer, just stay like this for a while."

"Ramish… did you move those pillows?" Richer asked.

With playful innocence, Ramish replied:

"No… why would I move them? I don't even remember when or where I fell asleep. And now that you're here in my arms, just stay like this… I feel so much peace."

Richer teased softly:

"Then how did all this happen?"

Ramish said gently:

"I don't know how… but however it happened, you're here with me. That's enough for me. Seeing you in my arms fills my heart with peace."

Richer quickly said:

"Alright, that's enough. Let me go, Ramish… I need to freshen up, and you should too. Then I'll order breakfast. And don't forget, the manager will be here soon—we have to go shopping with him."

Ramish grinned and teased:

"Forget shopping… just stay in my arms like this."

At that, Richer gave him a strong push, freeing himself from Ramish's hold. He sat up against the headboard, a faint smile on his lips, and said:

"Ramish, you're just like a little child…"

Ramish immediately burst into a playful laugh and replied:

"Yes—and you're the toy this child wants to hold tight and sleep with."

Richer laughed and said,

"I'm a toy, aren't I? But remember… this toy bites too. Ramish, shall I try to biting you, hmm?"

With that, he playfully climbed onto Ramish's stomach, pinned both his hands down firmly, and bites gently at his shoulder.

Ramish, in a soft voice filled with love, whispered,

"Richer… don't do that."

Richer smirked and teased,

"Why not? You're the one who said I'm a toy. So now, enjoy the toy bites!"

Ramish replied with a mix of mischief and tenderness,

"If you really want to leave marks on my body, then not on my shoulder… leave them on my neck, my chest, and my arms—marks of your love."

The moment he heard that, Richer quickly placed a hand over Ramish's mouth, pressing a finger of his other hand against his own lips signaling him to be silence.

For a few moments heartbeats are faster, silence filled the room. Then Ramish gently slipped his arms around Richer's neck and murmured,

"Richer… I'm ready for those marks."

But Richer shook his head, his tone playful yet firm,

"Ramish, I told you before… don't even think about such things!"

And before Ramish could argue, Richer suddenly dug his fingers into his stomach, tickling him mercilessly. Ramish burst out laughing, struggling between gasps:

"Richer, stop! Please… I won't say anything like that again—just stop, for God's sake!"

Their laughter echoed through the room, filling the silence with warmth and joy—like the morning itself had begun to bloom with their happiness.

With a mischievous grin, Richer leapt off Ramish's stomach and darted away. Ramish, still laughing, chased after him. The two ran around the room like children, their giggles chasing after them.

At last, Ramish caught him, wrapping his arms around Richer and start to spinning him around in circles.

Richer, laughing so hard his voice almost cracked, cried out,

"Ramish, don't spin me like this! We'll both fall!"

Ramish stopped with a smile, gently loosening his hold and letting him free. But their laughter didn't stop—it lingered, like music in the air.

Breathless, they both collapsed onto the couch, sitting side by side, their cheeks glowing with joy.

Richer shook his head with a grin and said,

"See, Ramish? I told you—you're nothing but a child."

Ramish took his hand, looked deeply into his eyes, and asked softly,

"So… did you enjoy it?"

Richer laughed, nodding.

"Yes, I did. But now you're tired from all that running around. Tell me, how will you manage shopping in this condition?"

Ramish chuckled, leaning closer with playful tenderness.

"Even if I don't have the energy to shopping, so what? For me, the most precious thing in the world is you… and you're already with me."

"Yes… but if you give me just one kiss on the lips, all my tiredness will go away."

Richer immediately replied with a mix of seriousness and a light laugh:

"No more talk about kisses. Come on, get up and freshen up. I'm not ordering breakfast to the room—we're both going down to the hotel restaurant."

Ramish smiled mischievously and said:

"Fine, I'll freshen up… but what should I wear?"

Richer rolled his eyes slightly and said:

"Oh, come here with me. Here are all the clothes—pick whatever you like and wear it."

Ramish insisted in a stubborn tone:

"No, Richer… you choose a suit for me yourself from these."

Smiling, Richer pulled out a suit and said:

"Alright then, wear this. It's my favorite, and it'll look really good on you."

Ramish took the suit, brought it close, and smelled it.

In a soft voice, he said:

"Richer, every one of your suits carries your fragrance."

Richer shook his head and said:

"Ramish, you're a little crazy."

Ramish replied, with tenderness in his eyes:

"Yes, crazy… but only in your love."

Richer chuckled softly and scolded him playfully:

"Enough now… do I have to drag you to the washroom? Go freshen up quickly, then I'll get ready too."

And so, both of them freshened up one after the other and got dressed.

Ramish looked at Richer, smiled, and said:

"Richer, you look as beautiful as always."

Richer met his gaze, smiled, and replied:

"And you look great too. Didn't I tell you this suit would suit you?"

With that, the two of them left the room and headed down to the hotel's restaurant area.
