"I see. You sacrificed your inner divine artifact for this sword?" Arthas frowned.
Genshirou had originally possessed the divine artifact, 'Black Dragon's Vein,' but its aura was now gone.
"Hahahaha! Don't pretend to be calm. You're trembling with fear, aren't you? This is Excalibur! A weapon as deadly as poison to devils.
The aura alone is unbearable, isn't it?!" Genshirou laughed maniacally, his right half body churning like boiling lava, grotesque pustules bulging and bursting, viscous pus splattering on the ground before being washed away by the rain.
"Fear! Why aren't you afraid?! What's with that expression?! I have unimaginable power! I'll kill you, tear you to pieces!"
Genshirou's expected reaction wasn't there; Arthas remained impassive, his expression cold and emotionless.
"Why did you betray Souna?"
Arthas ignored Genshirou's taunts, asking calmly.
Genshirou's face contorted in agony, his eyes like those of a wounded, enraged beast.
"I… I didn't! I haven't betrayed the President! I love her! Deeply! You don't understand! You… you… you suddenly appeared! Without you… things would have been different!"
Arthas merely raised an eyebrow at Genshirou's hysterical outburst.
"Oh?"
This indifferent response was a profound insult, making Genshirou's already distorted face even more terrifying.
"It shouldn't be like this… it shouldn't be! The President should be mine… it's all your fault! If you hadn't appeared… things would have gone back to normal."
"Yes… that's right. If you just disappeared, I'd regain my strength, return to the President, and we'd be like before. She'd fall in love with me, we'd have children, and we'd get married."
Arthas remained unchanged as Genshirou's delirious monologue continued. Perhaps, as Genshirou said, he didn't understand their past, his feelings for Souna. But so what?
It was none of his concern; he had no need to understand, especially since Souna herself didn't fully comprehend her feelings.

Arthas smirked, refraining from lecturing him. It was pointless. Arthas didn't know Genshirou's exact state, but he knew he wouldn't return to normal.
Arthas could only end his suffering.
"Oh, right… I forgot to tell you something. While you were gone, Souna became my woman."
Arthas said with a cruel smile.
Genshirou's remaining sanity shattered at these words. He roared, Excalibur swirling in the rain, its white light blinding. He charged at the motionless Arthas like a wild beast.
The rain intensified. Arthas narrowed his eyes as Genshirou charged.
The falling raindrops instantly transformed into razor-sharp ice shards, piercing Genshirou's monstrous form.
Blood splattered from his decaying body, instantly washed away by the rain, leaving no trace.
The ice shards couldn't impede Genshirou's charge. In an instant, his oppressive form was beside Arthas, Excalibur raised high, slashing down.
Excalibur, a poison to devils, merely caused Arthas discomfort and disgust. As the blade fell, a chilling aura gathered in Arthas's palm.
A jet-black greatsword materialized, blocking the attack.
The two swords clashed in the relentless rain, sending water flying, instantly freezing into countless ice shards that flew towards Genshirou's eyes.
"Uwaaaaaaaaaah!!!"
Genshirou's face was instantly riddled with holes, offering almost no resistance.
His monstrous body was largely unaffected, the wounds rapidly healing, but his human face was vulnerable.
His monstrous arm still gripped Excalibur, while his human arm covered his face. Genshirou screamed, retreating step by step, while Arthas advanced calmly.
"How foolish… don't you know… in this weather… it's my domain? The extent of my power… even I can't fully grasp."
Arthas chuckled, raising his hand. The torrential rain froze, turning into ice.
A fantastical ripple spread behind Arthas. The rain vanished, replaced by thousands of ice spears, each over a meter long, hurtling towards Genshirou.
