Along with the email came a recent post from Alex Elliott's personal account. The message was about how pleased he was with his collaboration with Martin Riley, and due to his relationship with Sylvia Byrne, he decided to become the godfather of their child.
"Crazy!" Daisy Sanchez muttered angrily, her face cold as she opened the door and asked her assistant for a phone.
She knew Alex Elliott's number by heart. It didn't take long for the call to connect.
"Daisy Sanchez." Before Daisy could even speak, Alex identified her. "I thought you'd keep hiding, but here you are, calling me. Aren't you afraid I'll trace your address through this call?"
Daisy's smile faltered, her expression turning fierce. "Alex Elliott, have you lost your mind? Do you like Sylvia Byrne so much that you're willing to raise her child with another man as your own?"
Her voice was sharp, revealing the depth of her anger.
