The two were lost in their own world, surrounded by an aura of pink bubbles. Seeing this, Michael regretted bringing his wife along.

In his mind, all this trouble was Sylvia Byrne's fault. She was just not classy enough, lacking any sense of grace. So what if she was falsely accused? It wasn't like she lost a limb. Yet, she made such a big fuss, even going so far as to boldly tell Martin Riley not to let them off the hook.
Michael couldn't understand why Martin was interested in someone like Sylvia. It must be the novelty. Once that wore off, would Sylvia still be this arrogant?
