"Mom, am I really that bad? Is that why Martin Riley doesn't want to look at me?" Isabella White looked up at Mrs. White with teary eyes. "Everyone online is criticizing me. What should I do?"
Regret and resentment filled her heart. She regretted listening to Daisy Sanchez, believing she genuinely wanted to help. And she resented Sylvia Byrne. No matter what, the whole situation hadn't tarnished Sylvia's reputation much. Yet, she kept clinging to it, clearly wanting to ruin Isabella.
"Isabella, where is Daisy Sanchez now?" Mrs. White asked, suspicion in her voice. She had a feeling there was more to this. Wasn't Daisy a childhood friend of Sylvia's? Could this all be a scheme they cooked up together to target Isabella?
"You told me before that Daisy Sanchez is Sylvia Byrne's childhood friend, right? I think it's very likely that Daisy and Sylvia plotted this together," Mrs. White speculated, piecing together her own dramatic theory.
