"wait,but you need to rest" Henry quickly said, standing Infront of her with worry in his eyes but Cassie was horrible at reading emotions,she only knew he had a crush on the body she is in,too bad the owner was dead and she has taken over
"I can rest at home"
"Sis,please listen to the doctor" this time it was Lisa who had spoken,her eyes seems to be filled with unshed tears, Cassie didn't listen and just walked past Henry,she stopped after a few steps
"Someone take me home" she said,she had just realized that she doesn't know much about this new place she's in, Lisa holds Mark "Mark brought his car,let him drive me and you home"alot of people were about to object but Cassie had already nodded"lead the way"Mark seemed reluctant but takes Lisa hand and starts walking ahead while Cassie followed behind, leaving everyone in the room panicked
The three were in the garage, Cassie was still wearing the patient gown and only took her phone with her,she followed behind while focusing on her phone,most of the things she knew in her world is the same with the ones here only she had a family and life was like a story,she hadn't realized when she stopped walking until she heard Mark cleared his throat,they stood a few distance away, she walks coldly and calmly to them, behind them was a black car, Cassie wasn't a car fan and just rode anything black or white and big
"You stay in the back" Mark says coldly,he leads Lisa to the passenger seat and opens the door for her, Cassie doesn't mind at all and sits at the back,Lisa and Mark looks at each other in confusion. Mark later sits at the drivers seat and starts driving
"Sis, you seem to be focused on your phone, something wrong?" Lisa asked , sounding like she's worried
Cassie glances up at her then at the window and back to her phone
"Nothing's wrong"
"You know,the news-" Lisa cuts herself off but Cassie already knew what she wanted to say
The news about Cassie trying to kill Lisa was allover the news but Cassie doesn't care and just focused on keeping up with the world,she discovered that there was a mysterious person similar to her from her past life,cold yet rich but the backstory is different,he worked hard after college and still has parents,he rules the business world but is cold and too truthful
Meanwhile Mark was watching Cassie from the rearview mirror,she was acting so different and for some reason he felt annoyed,he could see Lisa unhappy face and he guess it was because Cassie didn't seem to want to talk to her...the ride was silent even after they reached a villa, Cassie stepped out without even looking at them,she noticed the servants and guards giving her weird looks and she also knew it was because of the issue with Lisa
Lisa and Mark followed behind her and she doesn't even care,she goes to the living room and sits down,the villa was completely different from her own,her phone was low since and had shut down a few seconds ago,a maid comes to her with a disrespectful look. Lisa and Mark were still outside instructing some workers
"Oh,if it isn't Miss Cassie or should I say miss murderer,why come back alive,we believe it was better you didn't wake up at all"
Cassie was amused but still looked expressionless and cold, this woman was a ordinary maid who favoured Lisa but she didn't expect someone of low status to speak with so much disrespect
