you wouldn't dare, those kids are mine and I won't let anyone take them away not even you nor your father so get that thought out of your head. I sat before a furious Carden in one of the most luxurious hotels in NYC, I told him I would take the kids away from him so he wouldn't drag them into his dark world.
Carden hits the table almost breaking it into pieces. My hands were shivering in fright as I pulled away from him. I know not to say any word that might get him more angrier than he is right now.
" I need to go home, I grab my purse ready to go, but he captures me between the table and his broad shoulders.
" I hate betrayal Hazel, and I won't spare you if you dare go against me. Those babies are mine. His gaze drops to my baby bump as it seems to be rapidly increasing in size. " I will raise them just the way I want and you won't stop me.
" Carden stop... I Rob my stomach as a sharp pain hits my lower abdomen.
" What's wrong Hazel, did something happen, he picks me up bringing me to his chest.
" Am fine Carden, put me down, I struggle to get off his grip but his arms were wrapped firmly around me as he carried me all the way to the car ignoring the Attention he was diverting towards us.
" Why do you always do that, I said I was fine, why do you always want things to go your way. He ignores my blabbering, as he starts his engine and zooms off.
The ride home was awkwardly silent and in less than an hour he pulls up Infront of my father's mansion,
" You can't run away from me wifey. He kissed me on the forehead after opening the door to my side,
" See you soon, and take care of our babies he said before zooming away in high speed.
I walk into the setting room and met a family figure Chatting happily with Dad.
" Liam... I said unable to believe my eyes.
" Hazel, you're back, his gaze seizing me from head to toe, before pulling me into a hug.
Liam and I have been childhood sweetheart, we grow and did everything together untill when his Dad decided to send him abroad to further his studies.
" It's being so long, can't believe you didn't even try to reach out after leaving, I smile taking in the handsome man he had grown into.
" That's a story for another day, the good thing is am here now pumpkin, that's how he used to call me, I smile remembering our childhood memories.
We settled down, Liam and I chatted about basic things and how much fun we had when we were much younger.
"Your Dad told me everything that has being happening, how sad I wasn't here to protect you, he tease, I'm here now pumpkin I won't let any one hurt you any more. His voice grew into a much serious tone.
" I really appreciate you trying to help Liam, but I can handle it. In as much as I wanted him to help, I didn't want to drag in into my mess.

" Liam is a good person Haz.. dad spoke from across the table, memories of my meeting with Carden came Rushing.

" Bad... his gaze drop as if expecting I would say that. " Carden is threatening to take my kids away and I won't let him do that, I will fight him with everything I've got,
" We're here for you pumpkin, I no it's difficult winning against the Smith's but I will stand by you through it all, he gave me a reassuring smile that melted my heart.
" We can't win against those shady people Hazel, they have control over the law and will buy their way out of anything, they'll never stop untill they get what they want.
" Then I'll leave. The thought rush through my mind. The Smith's are influential il people in this city but not the world, what If I go to another country to birth my kids.
" That's a brilliant idea pumpkin, I can help you with that, I have a few people at the Embassy, and they can get you out of this country without leaving any records of your wareabout, just name the country and its done.
" No don't, know one has to know where you're going not even us. Am just scared of how you'll survive in a strange country all by yourself.
" I'll go with her if you permit me Mr Gray, I promise to protect your daughter with my life, Liam's sudden declaration caught me off guard.
" No Liam you can't do that, I won't let you abandon your live and everything just for me, sorry I can't.
" It nothing Hazel I can start a business where ever I go, you know am good at everything.
Liam has always been like this, always willing to sacrifice everything for the people he loves, Dad felt more calm knowing Liam would be going with me. Everything was strickly confidential and we didn't even say a word to aunty Lizzy and Emily.
Two days had pass and Liam succeeded in getting the paperwork done, he made new documents of me bearing another name so that my name won't appear on any records in the migration offices. I made sure Carden didn't suspect a thing as I kept communication flowing between us.
" Everything is set pumpkin we can leave anytime you want. I nodded as Liam gave me the fake documents to inspect, he held another stack of them which belonged to someone else,
" There's no way am sending my daughter to a strange land all by herself, mom came in and collected the other sack of papers. " Am going with you child. Immerse joy engulfs me as I hug her so tightly. I needed all the support I could get at this moment.
