Our flight was set for the next day, Dad had transferred a huge sum of money into my private Bank account to facilitate our stay to where ever we were headed, mom helped in packing my luggages as Liam took them away that night so that we won't be drawing unnecessary attention towards us the next morning. I went into my almost empty room feeling pretty exhausted from everything.
My phone screen lit up as I receive a message from Carden.
" Am coming up"
I rush to the window and find him crawling up to my room, panick gribs me as I stare into his mesmerizing gray eyes.
" Carden..... What are you doing here, I shudder in fear trying so hard not to make him suspecious of anything.
" That's no way to welcome the father of your kids , he pulls me into his usual hug.
" I want you back home wifey, he whispers against my earlope before slowly pulling away, "am practically going insane without you.
I have being barely surviving without him, no matter how terrible this man seems to be I couldn't stop this stubborn heart of mine from loving him so much.
" I have miss you too Carden, he pulls me even closer crashing his inviting lips unto mine as we kiss each other hungrily, he tenderly cups my cheeks on his hand, his warm thump moving back and forth across my skin, sending a soothing sensation through me, I pull him closer wrapping my arms around his neck while his hand find my waist, as if taking away all my worries with his kiss, I felt completely vulnerable under his intoxicating presence, all I wanted was for him to hold me tightly in his arms and never letting go.
He pulls away and went down on one kneel, I looked at him unable to move or say a word
" Hazel... He mutters my name as my heart throbs heavily in my chest. " I know our relationship didn't start up on the right foot, I know I haven't being the best husband, but I can promise you that I'll be the best father to our kids, I want you in my life. Please marry me wifey. He brought out a dazzling diamond ring, " please don't say no.
" Yes I'll be your wife Carden Smith, with a smile he slip the ring into my finger as he kisses it all the way to my lips, thank you wifey he said within our kiss. This was it, our last night together, the last time I'll ever hold you this close, tears escape my eyes and he pulled away immediately.

I felt so awful trying to keep a father away from his kids, but this was for the best, this is for the future of my kids. " Am so sorry Carden, I don't know if you'll ever forgive me but I need to protect our kids from you, I momured. I let myself as we created the most memorable night of our lives, a night that'll forever be engraved in my heart.
" Hazel we need to go, mom's voice came as I slowly opened my eyes,

I showed her the ring still unable to control my tears, I love him so much mother, but I love my kids too, I need to do this for them, that's what every mother is expected to do right mother, my sobs intensifies the thought of leaving Carden behind slowly killing me. Dad had Made arrangements to start a fire in my room, so that it seems I was killed in the fire, everything was perfect yet seemed so wrong.
" Your intentions are good dear, and every mother would do same if placed in your shoes. I dressed up as mom led me out of the mansion, Liam's car was parked a few feet away from the mansion. Dad had sent aunty Lizzy and Emily on a vacation so the coast was cleared, we hurried to Liam's car covering our faces with a mask and he zoomed off immediately we got into the backseat.
