"Lord Tsuchikage, you've saved us yet again!"
Listening to their chatter, Ōnoki sighed. "So this is how you treat your savior?"

From the massacre at the hands of the Gedo Statue, fewer than a hundred Sand-nin had survived. Now, they all gazed upward, faces pale, as the earth was swallowed in the shadow of Susanoo.
That dreadful silhouette pressed down on their hearts like a storm cloud.
Rasa's eyes widened. In despair, he said, "Everyone… I won't escape this time. You must go on without me. He's returned… for me."
But before his words had even faded—
Rasa and the hundred-odd Sand-nin at his side froze in disbelief as the orange-red Complete Susanoo suddenly hovered in the sky above.
It floated with ease, light as a swallow. Then, in the very next instant, a massive blade blazing with crimson flames materialized in its hand—the Totsuka Blade.
The sword ignited with a burst of light, surging outward to engulf Rasa and every last Sand-nin, sealing them all away.
"…"
Rasa stared in shock at the flame-forged blade as despair filled his heart.
So that was it. Not a single Sand-nin would escape alive.
Once the deed was done, the Complete Susanoo vanished from the heavens as though it had used the Flying Thunder God.
In the blink of an eye—
The Complete Susanoo now hovered in the western skies, looming over the retreating Cloud-nin army. Then it rapidly descended, until it floated just above the fleeing shinobi.
"There are 189 ninja in total. The closest Cloud-nin is about 200 meters below… the Raikage is at the front."
Neji reported blankly, still reeling from the shock Uchiha Yu had given him.
When he had wondered how Yu would deal with the Sand-nin, Susanoo had instantly swung the Totsuka Blade and absorbed all one hundred of them in a single strike. The scene had left everyone numb.
No wonder this Uchiha didn't care in the slightest about the other villages escaping Konoha.
Now, compared to the Sand-nin with barely a hundred left, the Cloud army clearly retained more survivors.
Yu scanned the fleeing formation and was surprised to find that Killer B wasn't among them. He quickly looked farther out.
Most likely, after Yu's sudden appearance, the Raikage had been cautious enough to send Killer B away from Konoha early.
"Faster!!"
The Raikage's face darkened as he saw the shadow bearing down from behind. He roared at the Cloud-nin around him.

Only the Raikage remained, his body flashing across the terrain like a raging arc of lightning, each step shattering earth as he pushed his chakra mode to its absolute limit. He narrowly dodged the Totsuka's sweep.
Yu swung again, but the Raikage zig-zagged like a lightning bolt in a Z-shape, slipping past once more.
So Yu switched tactics. He shifted to the Dark Moon, injecting wind chakra to activate its fastest form—Wind Release Chakra Mode.
Whoosh—
A jet-black crescent moon shot forward, wind chakra compressed into swordlike energy.
Long ago, Yu had cleaved through Root elites from a hundred meters away with this technique. Now, amplified by Susanoo and tailed beast chakra, both its speed and scale had reached terrifying levels.
The Raikage's back went cold. His pupils dilated as he desperately pushed his speed to the limit, veering hard to the right.
Once more, his body blurred into a streak of blue lightning.
But this time—
The black crescent's gleaming edge swept past, catching his left arm mid-swing.

Blood sprayed into the air. The Raikage's eyes widened as he watched his severed arm spinning away. Before the agony even reached the wound, his body flashed again and vanished into the distance.

Neji stared at the Raikage's back in awe. Even after losing an arm, the man had dodged Susanoo's strikes and escaped with only that injury.
On the ground, despite the missing limb, the Raikage's speed didn't falter—in fact, it increased further, driven by sheer survival instinct.
