Aoi, unsurprised, chimed in, mocking Zenitsu, "Yeah, his brain is only interested in women."
Tanjiro didn't argue; it was true. He'd witnessed Zenitsu's obsession with women firsthand, solidifying his decision to never entrust Nezuko to him, even if Ryuji approved.
Although Zenitsu didn't join Tanjiro and Inosuke in their Total Concentration Constant training, he secretly watched them from the window, overhearing Aoi's comment. He couldn't deny his fondness for beautiful women.
Days later, Tanjiro and Inosuke made progress, managing to maintain Total Concentration Constant for half an hour. Breaking through the plateau improved their training efficiency.
However, Tanjiro worried about Zenitsu. If he continued to slack off, he'd fall far behind.
Shinobu, hearing about Tanjiro and Inosuke's progress, came to observe them, hoping to motivate Zenitsu.
"Wow, you two are amazing! You've lasted this long!" Shinobu praised them as they exited Total Concentration Breathing.
"Sister Shinobu!" Tanjiro greeted her sweetly.
"Of course! I'm incredibly awesome!" Inosuke boasted crudely.
"That's right! You're the future of the Demon Slayer Corps. Keep it up!" Shinobu showered them with praise.
She then shifted her focus to Zenitsu. "Where's Zenitsu? I heard he's refusing to train in Total Concentration Constant."
She suddenly appeared at a window, smiling at Zenitsu, who was peeking from behind it. "Hello! What are you doing here, Zenitsu?"
Zenitsu, startled by her sudden appearance, sat down hard. Relieved it wasn't something monstrous, but a beautiful woman, he quickly recovered.
His fear morphed into infatuation. He fawned, "Shinobu-san, what brings you here? Are you here to see me?"
Shinobu, unfazed by his behavior, smiled. "Yes! I came to see you. Open the window."
She understood why Ryuji had described Zenitsu as someone who latched onto beautiful women. If she weren't a Hashira, she feared he might try to eat her.
Zenitsu quickly opened the window and leaned in towards Shinobu.
Shinobu slapped him across the face.
