"Total Concentration Breathing! I'll master it before you! Then I'll beat that girl before you do!" Inosuke declared enthusiastically. He was determined not to be surpassed by Tanjiro.
Tanjiro and Inosuke began practicing Total Concentration Breathing, abandoning rehabilitation training.
Ryuji had told Tanjiro that rehabilitation training wouldn't help him beat Kanao.
The problem wasn't the training; it was Tanjiro himself.
Aoi Kanzaki, unaware of the situation, waited for Tanjiro and became angry. "Tanjiro, you're skipping training! Seriously?!"

Aoi was puzzled. How did Tanjiro know about Total Concentration Breathing? "How did he learn about Total Concentration Breathing?" she asked.
Naho replied, "Kamado-san said someone named Ryuji told him."
Hearing the name Ryuji, Aoi remembered the charming white-haired boy who had captivated her.
She had secretly gathered information about Ryuji, who was training Demon Slayer Corps members in a secluded courtyard at the Butterfly Mansion.
Most of the information was about Ryuji and Shinobu's rumored relationship, making her blush.
More importantly, Ryuji possessed immense strength and significant privileges, able to bring Nezuko, a demon, back to headquarters without punishment.
She didn't know the details and lacked the authority to find out, adding to the mystery surrounding Ryuji in her eyes.
Aoi left the training room and found Tanjiro and Inosuke practicing Total Concentration Breathing outside the ward.
Seeing their genuine effort, her anger subsided. After confirming Zenitsu's absence, she approached Tanjiro. "Tanjiro, where's Zenitsu? Why isn't he practicing Total Concentration Breathing with you?"
Tanjiro, maintaining Total Concentration Breathing, finally exhaled, wiped his brow, and addressed Aoi. "Aoi-chan! What are you doing here?"
"I came because you skipped rehabilitation training. Naho said you're practicing Total Concentration Breathing, right?" Aoi replied.
Tanjiro nodded.
"Where's Zenitsu? Why isn't he practicing Total Concentration Breathing?" Aoi repeated her question.
Tanjiro sighed, "Zenitsu's the same as always. He refuses to try Senior Ryuji's method, saying it's impossible."
