Hamar reached out his hand, the puppeteer comes into play.
He taps the high-ranked vampire, looking I to his connection with another vampire far away, out of Hamar's influence. He smirked and sent a small injection of causality his way.
The causality followed the connection between the vampires and caused a reasonable happenstance to occur.

"It should be time about now…" the vampire Viscount bit into a small but powerful rabbit creature, quickly draining it of its blood.
He looked into his blood stream and following the laws captured by his body and Spirit Stone Soul, the blood shook. It vibrated and sent a corresponding message towards it's blood connections, "Activate your part of the formation."
The high-ranked vampire responsible for the fortifications that Lin Feng was invading suddenly stood up. He had been paying loose attention to Lin Feng but just as they were to disappear using a light tunnel…coincidentally his master, the viscount, ordered him to begin.
This high-ranked vampire, a baron, cast out his hand and started chanting, "I, Dmitri, conjure with my name…"
As the chant begun, Dmitri's body seized and he became immobile.

Hamar tapped the rock where he sat and smirked, his small intervention causing Yi Sect's plans to start sooner…it in fact, will cause their downfall.
Dmitri was immobile and alone, all of the other vampires and thrall called to the outside. Lin Feng and his crew teleported straight into Dmitri's lair, it was over.

Lin Feng, Chen Ming, Hao Ran and Wang Wei all fell out of the light tunnel and launched into the room where the Baron had stood in the centre with eyes closed and a melodic voice reverberating from his human mouth.
Unlike the low-ranked vampires, his features were human…almost indistinguishable lest his fair skin and blood-shot eyes, though they were unseen as of that point.
Though this was what they should have seen, instead as they realised their surrounding, the group realised that they could not see at all.
They already tried to launch their attacks but vampires are known for a third cultivation especially. Blood, sound…and darkness.
Darkness, the opposite of light. It was a direct counter to the Light Bringers. Lin Feng was the first to notice, "Stay calm…we haven't been attacked yet. He likely cannot detect us yet, it is immobilised somehow."
Chen Ming tapped around to find Lin Feng in the dark, "Its me. The darkness is too powerful, I doubt I can use any light attack. Is it…"
As Chen Ming feared, it was a high-ranked vampire. The first to realise that was Hao Ran who, unlike the rest, cultivated a second path extensively.
He already sent out probing sound waves and caught them as they bounced back, 'feeling' the room. He gasped and fell back, "Lin Feng, we have made a grave mistake. It's a high-rank, a Baron I assume."
Lin Feng, as the leader, remained calm. He held out his hand backwards, "Hao Ran, give me the details. I'm holding out my hand, send it to me directly."
Hao Ran quickly found the outstretched hand and sent his results to them directly in the form of a basic 'vision' that would overlay over the darkness.
"He isn't moving or taking any notice to us." Lin Feng noted the abnormality, "He's moving his lips, Hao Ran can you search the room using your sound techniques. He may be talking in a frequency we cannot audibly hear."
Lin Feng squinted his eyes, "If this was a normal mission, I would tell you all to escape. That our lives are more important…"
Wang Wei finally gathered his composure, still injured, and spoke with a gravel in his voice, "But this isn't a normal mission. This is war, and we have a responsibility. We have, quite possibly, a once in a lifetime opportunity."
Lin Feng nodded gravely, "A Baron would normally be impossible for us to take on but now…for whatever reason he is immobile. Hao Ran," he gulped, "Stay out of this fight and continue the search. If you find something you can report it to the sect. And if you we kill it, then all is fine…if we die, run."
Hao Ran stopped his investigation and licked his lips in nervousness, "Senior, I will try my best."
"That is enough." Lin Feng sent the vision he was seeing to Chen Ming and Wang Wei. While the vision was built from Sound techniques, it was transmitted with Light.
"You two, follow me. We will use all of our laws to destroy it." He looked them in the eyes, as best he could, "Even if we kill it, it's likely we won't be unharmed. Even if we survive we will need to escape afterwards, the lotuses planted earlier will weaken them but we, too, will be weakened."
Wang Wei put his hand on Lin Feng's shoulder, "It's fine. We knew the consequences when we first answered your call…when we first volunteered for this war. Each of us will do what we can to stop Yi Sect. We are small, we can only depend on eachother."
They moved forward with nervous smiles on their faces. They surrounded the Baron. Their hairs stood on end. Chills ran down their spine.
Spirit Stone Souls heated up with a vibrant strength as they opened up wide. A qualitative difference between levels was inevitable. If they were to fight up…they would need to give it their all.
One versus three. The only hope is with the power of Laws, they may find Justice and deliver what they can for the war front.

"Dim…Vow…acti-…" Hao Ran started to hear fragments of the words spoken by the vampire. He would need much longer to completely decide but if they were lucky, he wouldn't need to.
For a moment, he changed his frequency and bounced sound waves around the room, observing what the rest was doing. They surrounded the vampire…Hao Ran opened his eyes curiously.
Glowing bodies, like a sun god descended. While the room was full of Dark laws, the sheer number of Light laws cut through the darkness, illuminating the room.
He closed his eyes and smiled.
