"This is called a Heavenly Space Dragon, one of Nine Clouds Green Dragon's many beasts. I suspect this will be our ride out."
Hou watched as the dragon flew out of the rift in space. The dragon was massive, larger than a whole range of mountains. It slithered out of the rift in space like a snake, however Hou could not see the end.
The dragon was covered in white scales and white feathers, all over it was a galaxy underneath. Like Hou's Celestial Law Amplifying Physique, the scales were transparent and underneath a galaxy could be seen.
He watched as the dragon changed course and flew directly towards himself and Mo Huai. It had pure black eyes and a mane of green jade. It traveled through the air with carefully precision.
Each movement it made rippled outwards, it swam through the air like a river. The space rippled which moved everything surrounding it. As it swim downwards to reach Hou, the forest surrounding the lake was constantly shaking.
Hou would've been pushed away if not for Mo Huai. He had activated a technique which grounded Hou and himself to the ground, unaffected by the ripples of space.
The dragon slowly made its way to Hou and Mo Huai, landing in the lake. Where it's head was in the lake, the water was repelled away. It made a slight rumbling sound, and lowered itself as much as it could.
"This does seem to be our ride, come fly onto the head!" Mo Huai shouted to Hou over the loud rumbling of the dragon.
Hou nodded and flapped his Cloudy Eagle Divine Wings and flew into of the dragon's body. As he did this, he noted that the feather his wings were made of were reminiscent of the dragon's.
Mo Huai walked on top of the massive dragon's body and reached the forehead inbetween the eyes. There was a jade stone with a pattern on it. He looked back to Hou and shouted back, using some sound laws to amplify his voice,
"Come sit on the circle, then we should be ready to set off!"
Hou started running and used his Cloudy Eagle Divine Wings to accelerate each step further than he normally could. Hou walked onto the jade circle and sat down, facing Mo Huai. Before Hou could ask about his wings and the dragon's connection Mo Huai spoke,
"It's been enough time, here's another spirit stone. Although after this inheritance you might not need them anymore. This new Celestial Law Amplifying Physique seems to be unified and therefore can use Spirit Stone Soul method, spirit stones are only a start."
Mo Huai handed Hou a stone, a completely clear palm sized crystal. Hou sensed inside his soul, not body, were the remaining spirits sword spirit, atmosphere spirit, liquid spirit, growth spirit and healing spirit. As Hou pondered over his options, he finally chose, he would absorb the sword spirit. He sent the spirit from his soul into the stone and it changed. Instead of a clear stone, it became a sharp blade.
Hou took the sharp blade and stabbed himself in the right forearm, the spirit stone assimilating. The previous stones have been slowly getting absorbed into Hou's body but when the Celestial Law Amplifying Physique was born they all assimilated. The flesh around the spirit stone swelled the sharp blade and the stone was instantly absorbed. Instantly Hou felt the new laws in his body.
Now altogether his major laws were, sun laws, heat laws, space laws, cognition laws. However laws were not such simple concepts, the sun laws could be applied or even broken down into heat laws.
Other than these major laws gained from spirit stones and pills, Hou also had his innate laws built in his body. These innate laws could not be manipulated as easily without causing damage
"It is done, I chose sword laws. You must've saw my fight with Fatty Kuang, I don't want that to happen in real fighting situations."
"That is a valid and strong choice, as you saw even an Elder only chose sword laws, discarding the rest. I don't suggest going that ever but sword laws are highly useful. And then before the dragon sets off I have another thing to give you, this Altocumulus Strength Pill. I should explain the ranking system."
"No need, when I was sealing the deal with Fatty Kuang he explained the ranking from Stratus to Cirrus. But before I take that I do have one question, this dragon's feathers and my wing's are quite similar, aren't they?"
"Yes, how astute! Your Cloudy Eagle Divine Wings were made from Heavenly Eagles. They live in the same environment as Heavenly Space Dragons so they look similar."
"Thank you, I'll start to absorb this pill now" Hou bowed slightly while sitting and took the pill.
He held it up to his eyes and noticed a slight aura around the pill. Hou took notice of this but did not care to ask, he threw the pill into his mouth and swallowed.
Instantly, Hou sat in a meditative position cross legged and started to absorb the pill. Now that he was in the physical world he felt the pill go down his throat and into his stomach.
Then in his stomach, Hou felt the aura around the pill dissolve. When he absorbed that aura, he realised what it was. It was a layer of space laws!
Hou then got into the main pill, it burst open his stomach built up immense pressure and felt like it was being punched.
He spat up blood but did not stop his focus. Inside his body, he felt the laws and used mental energy to subdued them. This was different that other laws, they were much more stubborn.
Then Yue helped too and used a piece of Flowing Divine Script, causing the strength laws the stop for a moment. In that split moment, Hou used his mental energy and absorbed the strength laws into his body.
Hou stood up and wiped his mouth from the blood. He stomped on the ground then punched into the air. He could feel his strength had more than tripled than before!
'But this isn't the only application of strength, what if I applied the law to mental strength. Like in my last inheritance, the wise old man could be seen as 'strong'!'
