Since it had been quite some time since the Battle of the Hive, the potential side effects of Ayr's Devil Fruit time limit may have worn off, yet Ayr had once again unleashed a supernatural ability far beyond normal expectations. This led the Five Elders to consider that Ayr's Devil Fruit powers might not merely be limited by time, but could be consuming something far more precious—possibly life itself. Much like the Mythical Zoan, Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, which they knew of from ancient records, this fruit granted near-unparalleled physical power and cartoon-like freedom in combat at the cost of the user's lifespan, a truth known only to a select few within the World Government's inner circle. The Five Elders couldn't comprehend Ayr releasing such awe-inspiring strength without paying a grievous price.

"His ability consumes lifespan?" Zephyr asked, stunned.

"Yes. Even if it's only a theory, the way he uses his power…it's not sustainable. His Devil Fruit isn't ordinary," one of the Five Elders confirmed grimly. Their deduction was based not only on fear but on an understanding of Ayr's terrifying progression, and they shared this theory deliberately with Zephyr and the others—not only to reveal the risk behind Ayr's power, but also to shield them from the demoralizing belief that Ayr's strength was insurmountable. If the Vice Admirals or Admirals lost the drive to evolve, the Navy's morale could collapse.

"What kind of Devil Fruit did Ayr eat?" Tsuru asked quietly.

"We don't know… not yet. But we will soon," replied the old man in the black suit with certainty. Though Ayr held the advantage now, they were confident he couldn't maintain this form forever. He would fall, and when he did, they would seize him, dissect him, and uncover the full truth of his Devil Fruit.

On the battlefield, a monstrous Wood Style: True Several Thousand Hands towered cross-legged in the sky, arms erupting behind it like a divine forest. Each titanic hand rained down like meteor showers upon the Five Elders, while Mariejois—the sacred city of the Celestial Dragons—was nearly half reduced to rubble. Flames and dust blanketed the ruins, debris carving deep scars into the earth. The might of the Wood Release Senju techniques, fabled to belong only to those with Hashirama Senju's DNA, was overwhelming.

But the Five Elders were far from ordinary. The katana-wielding elder fought with terrifying kenjutsu, his Advanced Conqueror's Haki–infused strikes slicing through tree limbs that dwarfed mountains. The blonde elder and the long-haired elder fought barehanded, using a brutal blend of taijutsu, Rokuogan-like shockwaves, and Armament Haki so dense their skin turned jet black. Alone, none could match Ayr or his Senju behemoth, but together, these three—who had fought side by side for centuries, perhaps since the Void Century—were a different story. Their flawless synergy allowed them to parry, crush, or vaporize even tsunami-sized arms with synchronized precision.

The battlefield roared with endless booms as the vast limbs of the True Several Thousand Hands began to fall, one after another, until the blade-wielding elder shouted with mocking joy, "Ayr, you're going to lose!" Though cracked, bloodied, and straining, the three elders endured, dismantling Ayr's primary weapons until only the statue itself remained. Their combined final assault shattered the last barrage, leaving a motionless, towering Buddha suspended like a corpse in the clouds.

"The Five Elders did it! They destroyed Ayr's ultimate ability! This was Ayr's strongest technique—if even that failed, he has no way to win!" Cheers erupted among CP agents and World Government elites who had been frozen in dread, their fear replaced with roaring euphoria. Ayr—the embodiment of rebellion and destruction—was about to fall.

"Looks like it's over," said the elder in the suit, silver hair drifting in the wind, eyes gleaming with greed rather than relief. Soon, Ayr would be in chains, a test subject in the Government's most secretive labs. "After so long…it's finally done," Zephyr exhaled, relieved, knowing the Holy Land had nearly fallen because of one man. Ayr's power had thrown the world into chaos, making Marines and Celestial Dragons alike tremble.

"Even though I didn't get to kill Ayr or Edward myself, with both of them gone…Marine HQ will dominate the New World," Sengoku muttered coldly, seeing the path to total Marine supremacy opening. Yet Tsuru, brows furrowed, whispered, "Still…something doesn't feel right." The True Several Thousand Hands was gone, but there was no panic in Ayr's face. He wasn't desperate. He wasn't afraid. He was calm.

At the battlefield's center, the blade-wielding elder rested his katana on his shoulder with a cruel grin. "Ayr, if you kneel and beg now, we might spare your life."
