"Is that so?" The corners of Ayr's mouth lifted faintly as, in the next instant, the countless shattered arms behind him began to reform—slowly, methodically—until, in mere moments, the massive arms stood fully restored, as if they had never been harmed. As long as his stamina and chakra held, True Several Thousand Hands could be regenerated indefinitely, just as Hashirama Senju had sustained it during the Warring States Era.
The CP0 agents watching from afar froze in disbelief as the reality sank in; the three Five Elders had worked together to destroy those arms, yet Ayr had regenerated them instantly, proving his monstrous, near-invincible power. They knew of Hashirama Senju, the God of Shinobi, whose Mokuton: Shin Sūsenju—a thousand-armed deity powered by nature energy—was legendary, but Ayr had taken that legacy further by fusing it with the Conqueror's Haki of the New World.
The Five Elders, veterans of centuries of war and manipulation, grew grim. The long-sword-wielding Elder furrowed his brow as the blond Elder spat curses, both realizing that the power they thought temporary had already lasted far longer than calculated. Even True Several Thousand Hands, which devoured chakra like a bijuu, still stood at near-peak form. The white-haired Elder muttered that Ayr was beyond any Devil Fruit user they had ever seen, and while they had long labeled him the most dangerous man alive, none had expected such regeneration and control.
"It's no use," said the katana Elder, glancing toward the man in the black suit who had until now remained silent. "The three of us won't be enough. We need all four." When they had previously joined forces—blending advanced Armament Haki, Conqueror's Haki, and ancient sword arts—they had barely shattered a few arms of Ayr's technique, and the stamina cost to repeat that feat could prove fatal. The suited Elder stepped forward, hand resting on the sheath of a hidden blade, acknowledging the disgrace of four Five Elders needing to fight one man.
The katana Elder growled that Ayr's hard power was nothing special without his Devil Fruit-enhanced state, yet the white-haired Elder admitted Ayr had not only kept it but mastered it better than anyone in a thousand years. No Devil Fruit user had ever fused a Wood Style bloodline limit with Rinnegan-level regeneration and coated it all in advanced Haki, making him a hybrid of the world's two greatest battle systems—ninja and pirate—and thus terrifying. The blond Elder whispered of dissecting Ayr's body to cultivate someone even greater, and with the agreement that Ayr's death would secure the New World, the order came: "All four—attack now!"
Atop the massive Senju statue, Ayr watched the four gather their power, black lightning and golden Haki sparking across the battlefield, and raised a brow. The True Several Thousand Hands could handle three Elders, but not all four, especially once his experience multiplier card expired. The chakra cost was enormous, and his time-enhanced state was nearing its end; better to conserve his strength for the true trump card—the Ten Tails sealed within him.
With a calm breath, he formed a hand seal, and the vast forest of arms vanished as if swept away by wind, making the Elders pause in confusion just as they prepared to strike. Laughter and taunts followed as they assumed his power had finally run out, declaring that even surrender would only make him a prisoner to be experimented on and harvested for the next generation of weapons.
But Ayr didn't flinch. He simply whispered, "Now… witness the power of the Sage of Six Paths."
