At the dining table, Charles and Edward finally joined. Edeline, Noah, and Cassandra were already seated.
"I'm planning to stay here for the night," Noah announced casually.
"I'm glad," Edeline smiled warmly.
But Cassandra playfully knocked her hand on Noah's head, grinning. "No, Sister Edeline. We have to go home."
"Hey, Cassandra~" Edeline said sweetly, "Stay here with me tonight. It'll be fun!"
Noah added with a pout and puppy eyes, "Yeah, stay. Just for tonight."
Edward chimed in, "That sounds like a great idea."
Charles, however, looked unimpressed. "We have a lot of work to do," he reminded them, his voice calm but a little tense.
Still, everyone began settling down. Suddenly, Edeline's eyes drifted to Charles's neck. He was wearing a high-neck sweater—unusual for him.
"Charles, are you wearing a high-neck? You never wear that."
Charles looked a little embarrassed. "Yeah... I felt cold today."
