"Let's see here..." Rael put both of his hands over his temples, imagining Lucien falling into a ditch or something.
However, there was no reaction from his end. No mana drained, and definitely no probability altered.
Yet for some reason, at the thought of probability, the Fate Threads inside his brain began to tingle. Because of that, Rael put his focus on them, and to his genuine surprise, he realized some threads were thicker, while others were thin.
At first, he tried tugging at them in an attempt to somehow draw their power, but after just a couple of minutes, Rael realized something.
"A meatier thread might mean a higher probability," Rael thought out loud. "So what if I drain the meatier thread into the thinner one? That's like..."
He immediately thought of scales, and with that in mind, Rael decided to manifest exactly what he was thinking.
