"That's enough, Lucien, I understand." Rael cut him off without hesitation. "We've all had our fair share of hardship. Even I didn't get along that well with my parents. Can't say they've ever locked me up though."
"Right?" Lucien chuckled. "It's honestly terrible what great power might do to a man. Frankly, I wish I had a little bit more power myself so I could stand up against Kareth."
It was a little bit interesting how big of a chatterbox this guy was. But alas, Rael wasn't too keen on having a conversation with this guy, especially knowing how shitty of a person he truly was.
But having no other choice, Rael simply listened and nodded, hearing out Lucien patiently.
And eventually, when he fell silent, Rael took this as his cue to leave.
"Well... I'll get going now. I don't really care what you do here. I won't take you to my world though. That's something you'll have to figure out how to do by yourself."
