Few weeks later, Ruby wanted to take a bath but realized there was no water in the house. She walked downstairs, calling out for Jowell. "Sister-in-law...Jowell answer, I want to take a bath but there's no water," she said.
Jowell replied, "I forgot to tell you, all the gallons of water are finished. We'll have to go and fetch some water."
Ruby asked, "Fetch water? Where?"
Jowell responded, "Outside, at the public tap."
Ruby nodded, and they set off towards the public tap. After waiting for some minutes, their turn finally arrived. They put the bucket under the tap, waiting for it to fill. However, just as they were about to collect water, a lady suddenly appeared out of nowhere and removed their bucket, putting her own in its place.
"Hey, why did you do that?" Jowell asked, looking at the lady with annoyance.
The lady didn't respond. Ruby, however, was not one to be trifled with. She grabbed the lady's hand and forcefully turned her around. "Are you deaf or something?" she asked, her eyes flashing with anger.
The lady tried to pull her hand away, saying, "Let go of me, you idiot!" But Ruby's grip only tightened. "You're the idiot, you came here and started making problems," she said, her voice firm.
The lady struggled to free herself, but Ruby held her ground. "I don't care, I'm the community chief's daughter," the lady said, trying to assert her authority.
Ruby smirked. "To hell with you then," she said, pushing the lady away and putting their bucket back under the tap.
The lady lost her balance and fell into the dirty water on the ground. The people around them couldn't help but laugh at the spectacle. One of the onlookers, feeling sympathetic towards Ruby, said, "Ma'am, don't mind her, that's what she always does."
Ruby responded nonchalantly, "That's her problem."
The lady stood up, her clothes drenched and dirty. "I'm going to call my father," she threatened, her face red with anger. She stormed off, followed by her parents and two bodyguards who had been waiting for her.
"Sister-in-law, we should go home. I don't want you to be in trouble," Jowell said, looking worried.
But Ruby was determined to get their water. "I'm not going until we finish filling these gallons and buckets," she said firmly. About 40 minutes later, the girl and her parents, accompanied by two bodyguards, returned.
