Chapter 5 - Episode 5

As Frieza's spaceship ascended into the darkness of space, leaving Earth behind, the interior remained eerily silent. The cold, metallic halls gleamed under dim, artificial lighting as Frieza led Raziel deeper into the ship. The soldiers stationed along the corridors stood at attention, stiff and obedient, their eyes never daring to meet their emperor's gaze.

Raziel, however, walked with no hesitation, his expression neutral but his mind processing everything. He had no idea where he was going, yet he followed without resistance. It didn't matter.

Eventually, they arrived at Frieza's personal chamber—a room grander than the rest, with a massive viewing window overlooking the void of space. A sleek, throne-like chair sat at the center, positioned as if meant for a ruler who watched over his dominion.

Raziel's eyes drifted toward the window, observing the stars stretching infinitely before him. The sensation was unfamiliar, unsettling.

The Conversation Begins

Raziel:"Are we actually... in space?"

A soft chuckle echoed behind him.

Frieza:"Ho ho ho ho~."

Raziel's body tensed involuntarily. There was something deeply unsettling about that laugh—a sound too composed, too entertained, yet carrying an undercurrent of something dangerous.

Frieza, now watching Raziel closely, took a slow step forward.

Frieza:"Yes, we are in space. Now, my little anomaly, tell me..."

His tail slowly raised, curling slightly before striking the metal floor.

THUD.

It wasn't a show of force—no real strength behind it—but a message of dominance.

Frieza:"By not having any power level, you are extremely powerful… It's delightful to see how someone with no ki is capable of destroying multiple planets…"

Raziel turned slightly, his gaze shifting toward Frieza.

Raziel:"... Well, I have no idea of what this 'ki' thing people keep mentioning, but I have a very high Lv. But can you tell me how humans can use magic? They flied, and even generated flames from their hands. That is fire magic, and yet, they said it was... 'Ki'?... And... what type of lizard monster are you?"

Frieza Tries to Understand

For the first time, Frieza's amused smirk faded, replaced by mild curiosity.

He tilted his head slightly, his red eyes narrowing, processing Raziel's words.

"High 'Lv'... magic… Humans using fire magic, yet calling it ki…?"

Frieza was intelligent, calculative—and this did not make sense.

He had traveled across the universe, conquered countless worlds, encountered warriors, gods, and even Saiyans who broke the very limits of power—but this was different. Raziel's understanding of reality itself seemed… off.

A world where humans had no concept of ki? Where they used magic instead? Where power was measured not in strength, but in something called 'Lv'?

Frieza was not a fool. He could recognize when something was beyond conventional logic.

His tail swayed slowly. His smirk returned.

Frieza:"Ho ho… how fascinating."

He walked toward his throne, sitting with deliberate poise, crossing his legs. His fingers tapped against the armrest in a slow, thoughtful rhythm.

Frieza:"You speak as if you come from a world where 'ki' does not exist… where 'magic' reigns instead. I must say, I have never encountered a world so… primitive."

His smirk widened slightly, his amusement growing again.

Frieza:"As for your question, I am not some mere 'lizard monster.' I am Frieza—Emperor of the Universe. The strongest being in existence, a title I have earned time and time again."

He leaned forward slightly, his gaze locking onto Raziel with renewed interest.

Frieza:"But you… You, my dear anomaly, are something new. I believe we are bound by different rules, wouldn't you say?"

He paused for a moment, his tail tapping the ground lightly.

Frieza:"Let's test something. You say you have a 'high Lv'? Tell me… how is it determined? What is the limit?"

His eyes gleamed with intrigue.

Frieza wanted answers.

He had seen warriors surpass their limits before. He had seen Saiyans evolve, Gods clash, and even power beyond mortals.

But Raziel?

Raziel was something else entirely.

And Frieza intended to uncover everything.

Raziel's eyes widened slightly, and in an instant, he began to blink rapidly, his surprise evident.

Raziel:"Emperor of the Universe? Wow... Now I'm intrigued... But no surprise coming from a monster. After all, monsters are superior to humans."

Then—he bowed.

A slow, deliberate motion, his head tilting downward while a quiet giggle escaped his lips.

Raziel:"But alright, I will gladly accept to teach you what Lv means, what it stands for, and more..."

He straightened his posture, his eerie green-blue eyes gleaming, before continuing.

Raziel:"Lv stands for Level of Violence. The more you kill... the stronger you become... There is no limit to how much Lv you can obtain, but each Lv requires more Exp..."

His voice carried an odd excitement, almost as if he were reciting an absolute truth—a law of nature.

Raziel:"Exp is also an acronym, standing for Execution Points… but I prefer to call them Extermination Points..."

He took a slow breath, his expression unwavering.

Raziel:"With enough Exp, you Lv up, allowing your body to become stronger. For monsters like us—as I assume you are—our magic grows stronger, our stamina increases… we evolve beyond limits."

His gaze darkened slightly.

Raziel:"But the more Lv someone has… the crazier they become. The further away they drift from the line of morality and kindness."

A silence fell over the room. The faint hum of the spaceship's systems was the only sound filling the vast chamber.

Raziel's words lingered.

And then—

Frieza smirked.

A widening grin, his red eyes narrowing with renewed interest.

Frieza:"Oh…? Ho ho ho ho~"

His laugh returned, but this time, it was not just amusement. It was understanding.

Frieza had just learned something very, very interesting.

He leaned forward, resting his elbow on the armrest of his throne, his tail slowly curling and uncurling behind him.

Frieza:"Fascinating… truly fascinating."

He closed his eyes briefly, as if savoring the revelation, before looking at Raziel once more.

Frieza:"So power is determined not by birthright, not by training, not by transformation… but by the simple, natural act of destruction."

He let out a slow chuckle.

Frieza:"Tell me, Raziel... how high is your Lv?"

The atmosphere was shifting.

Frieza was no longer just curious.

He was invested.

Because this… this system of power—of violence, destruction, and growth—was something he could use.

And Frieza always knew how to take advantage of power.

A faint glow pulsed beneath Raziel's right hand.

Then—a red, blinding light materialized, shaping itself into a crimson knife, its edges sharp enough to pierce through reality itself.

Raziel's fingers tightened around the handle, his grip firm, unyielding.

His face darkened, the light from his body shifting unnaturally.

His eyes—

Two vertical, glowing red lines.

His mouth—

A single, red slit.

And behind him—

A black panel appeared, outlined with a sinister red glow, flickering with an ominous energy.

It hovered, almost as if part of him, yet separate.

A menu.

A twisted status screen, revealing information in a way that should not have been possible.

And the details—

They were incomprehensible.

[STATUS MENU]

["Name"] → (Glitching rapidly between Raziel, Asriel, Sans, and Chara…)

Lv → (Glitching between 359189 and DETERMINATION…)

Hp → 76/175,895,350,980

Atk → 989,457,917Exp → 975,385,912,432,438

Def → 749,172,434,980Next → 197,567,562

Kills → 147,662,562,204

The numbers were impossible—beyond any known limit.

Beyond mortal comprehension.

Raziel's warped expression never wavered as he raised his knife slightly, keeping it pointed at Frieza.

His voice shifted, layered as if more than one person was speaking.

Raziel:

"So... Emperor~..."

His distorted smirk widened.

"Sorry if I didn't give a decent show, but... Magic works how it does, mixed and along emotions and intentions, and... I was caught by surprise...

"I didn't want to kill them, just get rid of them... I underestimated humans, and that happened."

He tilted his head slightly, his burning red gaze piercing through the dimly lit chamber.

"But... I will only go fully intended to kill, as after all~..."

His voice dropped, eerie and hollow—

"In this, and every world…"

His grip on the knife tightened.

"It's kill or be killed~."

The room fell into an unnatural silence.

Even Frieza's soldiers, standing at a distance, felt the shift in the air.

Something about this… felt different.

Frieza's golden eyes narrowed, his smirk still present—but now, there was something else behind it.

Not fear.

Not concern.

But interest.

Deep, genuine interest.

He had encountered monsters, tyrants, gods.

But Raziel…?

Raziel was a glitch in reality itself.

Frieza's tail flicked once, tapping gently against the metal floor as he observed Raziel carefully, analyzing.

Then—

A small chuckle.

Frieza:"Ho ho ho ho~..."

His smirk widened, his chin resting on his knuckles as he leaned back into his throne.

"You are... quite the specimen."

His tail curled, amusement flickering in his gaze.

"A being whose power is not bound by training, evolution, or even logic itself... and yet, you claim it is all so simple."

Frieza let out a slow breath, closing his eyes briefly before opening them again, his red pupils glowing faintly.

"Kill or be killed, you say? Now that… that is a philosophy I can understand."

His gaze darkened, his smirk curving into something more sinister.

"Tell me, Raziel..."

His fingers drummed slowly against the armrest.

"Have you ever killed a god?"

The glowing red menu panel behind Raziel flickered erratically, pulsing in and out of reality like a broken signal. His crimson-lined eyes remained locked onto Frieza, his expression warped with a mix of amusement and eerie anticipation.

Raziel's Response

Raziel:"A god?... Well... No, but I consider myself as... The True God of Hyperdeath~..."

A low, distorted chuckle escaped him as his grip on the red knife tightened. His form flickered slightly, as if his very existence was unstable—unbound by the laws of this universe.

Then—his head tilted slightly, his eerie red gaze sharp with intrigue.

Raziel:"Maybe perhaps... You have a target that is a deity... A God entity... And is just bothering you?"

He took a slow step forward, his shadow elongating unnaturally across the metallic floor.

Raziel:"Because if yes... I will gladly accept your quest~..."

His voice was layered—a mix of calm and something far more sinister.

Raziel:"Apart from the Exp I will obtain..."

His warped grin widened.

"What is your offer for completing this quest?~"

Frieza's Response

A low hum filled the room as Frieza's tail curled lazily behind him. He was watching. Calculating.

Then—

A chuckle.

"Ho ho ho ho~..."

Frieza's smirk grew.

He leaned forward slightly in his throne-like seat, his red eyes glowing faintly under the dim light.

"You speak as if I am some mere employer, Raziel..."

He tilted his head, amusement flickering in his gaze.

"But I do find your enthusiasm… entertaining."

He paused for a moment, his tail tapping once against the metal floor.

"A god… yes… one who has proven to be quite the nuisance. A creature with far too much influence over the balance of this universe."

Frieza's fingers drummed against the armrest in a slow, deliberate rhythm.

"And you claim to be the 'True God of Hyperdeath'...? Ho ho ho~... Now, that is a title I'd be very curious to see put to the test."

His eyes darkened slightly, his smirk unwavering.

"So tell me, Raziel... How far are you willing to go to prove that title?"

Raziel's form shifted slightly, and in a fluid, almost glitching motion, he lowered himself into a bow.

Behind him, the black and red status menu flickered violently, its text distorting and breaking apart, before finally vanishing in a pulse of static.

Then—he froze in place.

His fingers flexed around the red glowing knife, gripping it with renewed strength. The blade pulsed faintly, as if resonating with his intent.

Raziel's Offer

Raziel:"Well... 'Emperor'~..."

His voice was dripping with amusement, yet lined with something unnervingly sincere.

"How about we talk later about possible rewards for such a quest, and you take me there first?~"

His red-lined eyes gleamed, burning with eager anticipation.

"I don't know where this God you want dead may be, so... Take me where this God may be..."

A slight chuckle escaped his lips.

"And… get some distance, grab something to eat and drink..."

His smirk widened unnaturally.

"And enjoy the killing show~."

Frieza's Response

A silence filled the room for a moment.

Then—

"Ho ho ho ho~..."

Frieza laughed.

Slow, deliberate, and filled with genuine amusement.

His tail coiled behind him, his red eyes narrowing, analyzing every detail of the creature before him.

"You truly are a delightful little monster, aren't you?"

He leaned back in his throne, fingers drumming lightly against the armrest, as if already considering his next move.

"Very well, Raziel. I shall grant you your request."

His smirk curled just a little wider.

"I will take you to where your prey awaits."

Frieza slowly lifted a single finger, and almost instantly, the ship's intercom activated.

"Set course for Universe 7's Sacred World of the Kais."

The moment those words left his lips—

Raziel felt it.

Something shifted in the air.

A target had been set.

And soon—

The hunt would begin.
