Not even Zeeb was expecting that kind of reaction from Selene, and when he got it, he could not believe his ears.
He turned to Zephyr and Ralph and saw that they were looking at her in shock. "It clearly tastes horrible," she said, now breaking into a smile. His face had really looked hilarious.
"I think you're strong. Way stronger than you look," he commented, and Selene laughed lightly this time. "Because of my ability to eat these horrible vegetables and fruits all the time?" she asked sarcastically. "Yes," Zeeb agreed, and she sighed lightly again. "But mainly because I think you are someone who has perseverance. Now that is something that is hard to come by. It's not giving up that is the real work, and for someone like you who is gifted with that, you will overcome everything you need to."
