Chapter 84 - Chapter 84 - The Opening Feast Begins

At the high table as he scribbled a few notes, Felix heard a cough beside him. Raising his head, he looked at Angel who shifted her eyes to the door. There a sea of students were entering making him realize that they students had arrived.

"Thanks, Angel." Felix smiled as he put away his notebook.

Then as he raised his notebook, it vanished into the air as if entering a puddle. While he didn't really use it much since he finds his suitcase and other artifacts like his mobile greenhouse more interesting. Felix used a magic called Magic Storage where he can store things in a pocket dimension like it was out of a isekai manga. Convenient yes, but due to having so many storage options like a storage ring, suitcase and so on. It was an option he doesn't use all that much.

"What magic was that?" Pomona Sprout asked.

She was a witch that had curly dark gray hair with a short but plump body. Her robes held some dirt and plants giving a unique look to them that didn't seem too out of place on her. After all, she is the herbology professor.

"Magic Storage." Felix smiled as he answered. "Do you want to learn it?"

"Can I?" She asked.

"Of course." Felix smiled.

Behind Felix, Angel held her forehead as she silently held up a sign behind him. Written on the board, the words 'Extremely Hard to Learn' were quite bold. Thus, Sprout just smiled as she politely declined.

"Well, I will have to try and find time between all my classes." She said, "I will let you know when I have time."

"Great. I can't wait." Felix smiled.

Felix then shifted his attention to the students who were finding their seats. The student body seemed a bit smaller than when he was in school. Then again, he never really paid that much attention and maybe just misremembered it.

Then a few minutes after everyone found a seat, the doors opened and McGonagall strolled in with a line of small students. Many wore worried looks, but most wore curious looks as they looked all over.

"Ah, I remember feeling nervous about my sorting." Angel said, holding her chin.

"Really, I just recall you being very confident and driven. You wanted to learn everything such as nonverbal and wandless casting on the first day." Felix held his chin.

"I was young, now I am more mature, responsible and beautiful unlike a certain someone." Angel retorted. "A child at heart no matter his age."

"I don't know, John has always been a bit mature for his age." Felix said, holding his chin.

"She is talking about you, I believe dear." Sprout commented.

"Nonsense, I have always been a responsible person." Felix retorted. "I always put charms and locks on my more dangerous items and notebooks."

"Then that time you almost turn a cruise ship to gold by dropping the Hand of Midas." Angel retorted.

"It was an accident." Felix retorted.

"Surfing in a hurricane?"

"I thought it was windy."

"Unleashing the seven demons of sin on Earth?"

"It wasn't me." Felix denied. "It was those pretty young girls throwing a party before it was shut down that did it." (Reference to Night of the Demons)

Luckily while the two bickered playfully, the sorting went on. It finally came to an end when Dumbledore stood up when the final student was sorted into his house. Only before Dumbledore could say anything, a loud bang was heard outside signalling those that know that the flying car has arrived.

"First of all, I would like to welcome our new students to Hogwarts and wish them all alongside the rest of you a good year. Now that is out of the way, I will make a few announcements after we are fed and watered. So enjoy it."

As he spoke those final words, Dumbledore spread his arms and various foods appeared on all the tables. Even on the teacher table where Felix found his favorite food and a glass of orange juice. So rubbing his hands at all the delicious food before him, he began to dig in.

"Hopefully, this time no one will try to assassinate you in Hogwarts." Angel commented.

Felix shook his head as he lifted his glass of orange juice before he went on alert. So pulling out a testing paper, he dipped it inside and watched as it turned into a chicken.

As the paper strip began to cluck loudly, Felix turned his face towards the person who jinxed him. Unlike last time it was poison, but it didn't stop his hurt look he gave her as she looked away.

So he turned his head to look at the other professors and Dumbledore. He saw their smiles.

"Why is it always the orange juice?" Felix munched on a blueberry muffin.
