The old man's gaze settled upon Snow before shifting toward Uriel.
"And incidentally, your young companion possesses it as well, although to a far lesser degree than you."
Snow fell silent.
Almost unconsciously, he placed a hand against his chest, remembering the strange sensation that had troubled him ever since Frey brought him back to life.
"How can you be so certain?"
"Because this place reacted to your presence. That alone confirms that you possess it."
"But I've been here several times before, and nothing happened!" Snow argued.
Ai shook his head calmly.
"That's because it was dormant within you at the time. However, something must have happened recently... Something that awakened what lies deep inside you, and inside that young woman as well."
Snow froze.
He knew exactly what the old man was referring to.
His resurrection.
The moment Frey had brought him back to life.
