"Well. I don't what I was expecting. But this is pretty in line…" Leroy said as he looked up at the Crimson Port Lift. It was a giant elevator in look but horizontally rectangular and with metal paneling that made it look metallic and mixed with things like wood and other materials. Two large gears coming out of the side that connected to pulleys on either side
There were three elevators going up and down. At least one being down at all times. This meant that there was a constant flow of people going into the new world. There was however a fourth and a fifth elevator. One that was up at the top permanently, and another that was far smaller and seemed to be for only a few individuals at a time instead of hundreds of people.
These were the personal elevators for Celestial Dragons that lead down to Judice for them to go wherever they please. Though it was common sentiment among them to feel as though there should be a more special place for them to land, but many need to be reminded that Crimson Port was their Island. A Multipurpose Location and not just a stop.
There were many crowds of people with huge amounts of cargo crates around them or being carried by servants. It was common to see Hecaton or Large fishmen like whales or sharks to be seen carrying large loads.
Many seemed utterly distressed, some crying because they didn't have enough to enter through the 3 meter tall pearly white gate to go up to the Holy Land.
"I can't bring my ship! Its been in my family for decades! Theres no ship lifts? What if I can't afford transport to another island!" A woman wailed to a man dressed similar to the money collector in the bay
"I'm sorry ma'am. But you should have prepared for that. If you take the Liftall you'll have to find someway off the island or work to make enough for a world government sanctioned transport to an United Island"
So thats why there were so many ships in the bay…All of those were ships that were left behind by those that went into the new world.
"I don't have enough!? This is my entire savings…!" An old man said with begging hands
"Sir, if you need to make more funds I suggest working and serving here at Judice until you reach enough." Another Proctor said
"B-but! I was told that it was only 100,000 Berry to go up!" He pleaded "100,000 for those from world government islands. And you don't have a passeport to prove you are from any of those islands, nor any documents of Identification from those Nations" The arguing continued until the man was dragged away by marines
"Passport?" Dezzi asked. "What are those? Do any of you have that?" The mink looked at the crew behind their mask
"Oh yeah…I had to have one because of my Granpa." Leroy said. Raven then pulled a small document from her hand purse and handed it to Dezzi for them to look at
"I can't use this anymore. But I was given one because of my mother." The Document was folded and had the world government seal on the front, unfolding it it rambled in legal jargon identifying the person in question. Some Government Islands required them to enter their waters. And they were required for application to marines or schools under the World Government. As well as being needed for official charters and merchants. Though the latter often forewent the document if their merchandise was worth being traded with
Many islands had documents like these. Often their own variations of them to show where they hail from. Others have formal ways of writing letters of introduction to be given to introduce the person, often a appearance description written in the first person
"I don't think theres much we can do here." Leroy said as he crossed his arms "We could hand out money for all of these people but they aint exactly in the same predicament as the other people in the gates. Not unless we wanted to cause a seen…"
"Agreed…" Kirk said folding his arms too. "I've seen enough…" Jeanne added
"Yeah…Lets go…" Leroy turned. And quickly the crew was back onto the Ember Blossom. And Raven reported that nothing had been tampered with as she had left a eye bloom behind to watch over the Ship, along with Eddies body.
Leroy and the crew passed a large billboard of announcements and Bounty Posters for all current at large pirates. All of his crew on the board.
They stopped for a second to look it over. There were many announcements that concerned the island such as rent prices going up, or how celestial dragons were owning most of the companies on the island. Which said that technically they were all competing with each other.
There were also many posters for high rising Pirates. Along with most recent news. None of which said anything important.
It made Leroy smile. Knowing he was about to get away without ever being caught…
"Ugh…Finally. Fuck" Kirk tore off his disguise and fell to the ground. The crew already making their way away from the island quickly. "I love this mask but man…Its weird to wear after so long…" Dezzi as they took off their cloak and mask
"I dont know why I had to wear a mask…" Kale took his mask off
"Because you dolt, all of our faces are right in the open. You saw that Bounty Board…" Noir said taking off his bandana around his mouth
"Let's hope Sabaody is better than this shithole…" Leroy said as he watched Judice go over the horizon.
