My stats had increased after I had leveled up to level 2. The increase wasn't massive but it was still there and I think as I level up more and more, it would add up.
I have 220 gold and 2 skill points right now but I didn't know where to use them. My offence was solid through the skill (Force Swing) and my defence was also great enough with the (Ninjutsu: Shield) skill. Not to mention I had my ultimate which I had yet to use even once...
I wasn't overconfident in my strength, I know that there would be people that would be stronger then me but I had yet to meet any of them. if I could meet someone stronger then me I would be able to know what I was lacking and then use the gold and skill points accordingly.
To be honest, I know that if I fought someone without using the skills I gained from system then there is a big chance I would lose but I never planned to fight anyone without using them as that would be more foolish then anything else. the skills that I gained through the system may be given to me without me doing anything but they are nonetheless my skills and my strength. not using them while fighting would be a show of arrogance and I don't think I'll ever not use them. well, maybe if I ever decide to hold back against someone, then I wouldn't use my skills but I don't think I would hold back against anyone...
I looked at the two people in front of me while thinking like this as I grew curious and commanded my system, 'System, Show me the stats of my two teammates!'

I looked at Amelia as I read this. She was holding two short swords on her belt and right now, as we were going to hunt some monsters, she had a green combat gear on. she looked, more or less, a close quarters fighter. but then why was her STR low? and MAT high? The MAT displays a person's shinsu attack power. So, since her Shinsu attack is high, she should use shinsu instead right?
"Amelia, do you know how to use shinsu?" I asked, trying to make it seem not suspicious.
"Hm? the special energy that is everywhere in the tower? No. I don't know how to use that. Why did you ask though?" She asked as she turned around to look at me.
"Well, I was just curious since I also wanted to learn shinsu..." I made something up.
"What is shinsu?" Dofu asked as Amelia started telling him.
I ignored what they talked since I already knew that shinsu was just an energy that the people in the tower use. Shinsu is everywhere in the tower and can be used for anything, Fighting or everyday life. Shinsu is extremely versatile but it is also hard to control.
The people of the tower has to form contract with the administrator of the tower to use shinsu but irregulars can use shinsu freely. I was able to get a feel of shinsu from the moment I entered the tower but I didn't know how to use it. I had tried to manipulate the shinsu that I was feeling around the invironment but no matter what I did, I wasn't able to. it was as if I was trying to get ahold of air. No matter what I did, it would always slip out of my grasp.
I have given up on manipulating shinsu until I get some guidance from someone. Even Baam wasn't able to manipulate the shinsu without guidance, well he did go berserk once and caused a massive shinsu tornado but he wasn't really manipulating shinsu so I think I would also need some guidance first.

This was a surprise. I didn't know Dofu would be this strong. Most people in the tower only had their stats to around 10 each so Dofu was certainly quite much stronger then most. His strength wasn't too high but certainly good. I think even without my help, he would have passed the floor's test.
Dofu had a big sheild on his back a sword on his belt. he also had combat gear on. his was brown with some red in the mix.
Of course, both of them didn't have complete plate Armor since that would hinder their movement while fighting. they had leather Armor and some of their vital parts were covered in steel plate. this would give them some protection while also giving them full mobility. I didn't had any combat gear so I was still in my casual clothes. I wore a black T shirt and brown jeens, not the most eye catching but everything looked good on me so who cared.
We soon left the town and arrived at a grass plains. here, as far as I could see, there was grass. there was certain times where a tree could be spotted in between this huge field but other then that, the huge grass field was streched as far as I could see. And in this grass field the the monster we are going to hunt. One Horn(ed) Bull.
Now, calling this creature a monster might not be right as this creature was more or less, a bull. It just had one horn instead of two. we were quickly able to find the bull since it was completely open in the field.
I decided to let them handle it as I wanted to know their fighting style. And that was a good decision as I found that both of them were quite good at fighting. their strength or I should say the power behind their attacks might not be as good as mine but their fighting technique was much better then mine.
Dofu was slow, much slower then even me, who doesn't even specialise in speed, but he makes up for his slowness with his technique with the sheild. whenever the Bull rushed at him, he would deflect the attack with his sheild and then slash the bull with his sword. He most of the time, would dodge whenever the Bull charged with its horn but if it doesn't charge then he stayed his ground and took the bull head on. He more or less fought like a worrier or a knight in games, close range attacks and high defence for more sustainability plus his parry and dodging skills were good as well.
Amelia was fast on her feets. she would rush at the bull while it was occupied with Dofu and slash at its body. her attacks didn't do to much damage but the wounds started to get accumulated as she persistently kept attacking. and the bull couldn't even do anything to her since Amelia would retreat back if the bull tried to attack her. together with the fact that the bull was occupied with Dofu most of the time, Amelia wasn't even attacked by the bull even once.

The amount of Gold I would get after my subordinate kills a monster depends on the strength of that monster. I don't know how strong the one horned bull was in the grand scheme of things but as a monster on the second floor, there should be a lot more stronger monsters on higher floors. meaning I would get that much gold as well.
