I would only be left with 1984 gold after buying equips for my servants...So, close to only 2k...
This kinda makes my heart break to be honest. I have 2768 gold right now but I would need to use close to 800 gold for my servants... To be honest, I do have the choice to not buy my companions any equips right now, I mean, I do have literally three years of time right? I could just postpone buying them equips to the future me.
Yes, I know that I don't really know what to buy for myself right now, so maybe I should buy for them but, I don't know what to buy for myself only because I am short of 3000 gold. if I had 3000 gold, I would instantly buy one equip that I have my eyes on for a while...

This equipment gives the highest stat increase in the entire game. 200 points of increase in strength was crazy. Not to mention the unique passive attached to this skill would make any enemy despair as long as they were less then half their health. This equipment was worth every penny in my eyes.
Now, this doesn't mean that there aren't any more equips that could be said to be useful. There are a lot of them, to be honest and they are more cheaper then this one as well. but this one has the highest attack power. The equip that comes even the slightest bit closer to this equip's attack power, would only increase my strength by about 120 points. Almost half the increase this equip gives.
Now, those other equips also have their own advantages. like their own unique skills that either do additional damage or reduces the enemy's defence for a short time in which, they would receive more damage from attacks. but I still wanted this one. My basic attack would literally blast through the roof after buying this equip, that was the reason I wanted this so bad. But since I am short on gold, there isn't really anything I can do other then give up on it for now.
I sighed while letting go of my stubborness. My two companions need the strength boost more then me right now. So I can't be stingy and not buy them what they deserve. Not to mention that I have to keep the front of having the 'Special Ability' of increasing people's strength as well. I had told them that I can increase their strength if they stick with me and now, if there was no increase in their strength even after half a month then they would surely suspect of me, lying.
So, putting my focus on the system window, I tapped on the stat equipment option and scrolled through the equipments there as I looked for a suitable equipment for them that is also within the range of 392 Gold. There weren't too many equipments in that range, to be honest, but even then, I couldn't really decide what to choose for them even with my limited options.
As I had said before, every stat was important on the battlefield, so I should probably choose something that can increase the stat that they are lacking in right now.
Looking back at the way they fought the bull, I could certainly see what to increase.
Amelia was fast on her feet, that much was certain after all, she was never, even once, was hit by the bull. she would always manage to dodge the bull and when it was distracted with Dofu, she would even attack and again come back to safety, away from the monster.
Amelia's defence was really low, I know that. But she still didn't really need the defence. As long as she could dodge the enemy's attacks, she wouldn't need defence. And I am certain that most people wouldn't even be able to catch her if she ever decides to run so, I know she doesn't need defence. Only I can really catch up with her and that is also only with my passive, that increases my movement speed by two times for 5 seconds. That time is enough to catch her and deal damage but I don't think there would be any other people that would have that high mobility.
To be honest, I don't think that even the princesses of Jahad that would participate in the next test would have enough movement speed, so I wasn't worried that someone would catch up with her.
(A/N: I know it doesn't sound real that the princesses of Jahad are slower then Amelia but in the show, both of them were not moving that fast, at least not in the beginning. so I would assume that their mobility wasn't that far above average human, in the beginning of the series at least.)
The only thing that she would really be lacking would be the attack power. She didn't had much attack power and I know for a fact that that is her biggest weakness. When fighting the bull, she was only able to scratch the surface of the bull since she didn't had enough strength to penetrate deeper. So increasing the STR would be best for her.
with this, I was able to narrow down my search a lot. to be honest, there were only two equips that matched all these conditions. And one of them was more focused on attack speed instead of actual damage so my search ended at the only equip I could buy.

I hesitated for a second but then brought this equip for Amelia. If we had more time, then I would have preferred buying an equip worth 450 Gold. that would have been a higher version of the small dagger but I was still glad at whatever we actually got.

I nodded at myself after buying the Equipment for her and then focused on my other companion's equip.
Dofu really doesn't lack too much in anything for that matter, other then of course, his speed. He is quite slow on his feets. His attack power and defence is quite high and almost everything is good about his way of fighting as well but the only problem would be his speed...and that is exactly what I would improve.

I didn't hesitate as I brought these. Dofu was already quite perfect even without my interference so I didn't really had to worry about making him more strong or finding any other weakness of his since his biggest weakness, his slowness was quite obvious to spot.

Nothing seemed to be changed here but that is because the Movement speed stat isn't shown when I use the status check feature of my system. though that doesn't mean that nothing has improved. I would be able to observe the changes on tomorrow's monster hunt.
Done with what had to be done, I headed downstairs as the aroma of delicious food reached my nose. It was already night out. I had seen Rak on the afternoon so I must have slept at least two to three hours.
I joined my two friends for dinner and then watched a movie with them, then headed to bed. I wasn't really sleepy since I just woke up a few hours ago but it was already midnight, and I can't really keep everyone else awake just because I m not sleepy, can I? I knew it would be a hassle trying to sleep but that doesn't stop me for at least trying right?
I closed the gate of my room behind me as I thought like that.
–The next morning–
I ate breakfast with my two teammates and headed towards the field to hunt some bulls. I didn't yet ask them if they wanted to take the next floor's test that would happen tomorrow. I first wanted them to experience the increase in their strength. The entire reason why we stopped at this floor was to increase our strength and once that is fulfilled, I would have a more natural way of asking them to start climbing again.
The first one to realise her grown strength was Amelia. Her increased attack power was hard to miss. her attacks were doing nice amount of damage to the bull now and with her high mobility, she became the highest damag dealer amoung us after me.
well, high mobility doesn't mean her attack speed is higher but she was able to deal continuous damage to the bull instead of having to switch between attack and defence like Dofu. She does have to retreat when the Bull tries to get her but she still manages to land more stricks on the bull then Dofu. After all, Dofu mostly uses sheild as he confronts the bull head on and only attacks when he sees an opening. Amelia would use this time to strick the bull more then once. to be honest, they were quite comparable like that weren't they?
After we had slain one of the Bulls in the field, Amelia gathered the two of us and said, "First of all, come here." Amelia said as she opened her arms towards me.
I stood there for a second not knowing what to do but then, Amelia herself pulled me into her breasts. I was shorter then my previous self, I was just at her chest's length so my face got buried in her cleavage. Her smell was... heavenly...
"Fufufu...So it was true after all. You deserve a reward for what you have done young man. hehe..." I heard Amelia speaking in her teasing voice and immediately parted myself away from her and looked at her face. sure enough, she was looking at me with a cheeky smile.
"Waahh...Take your 'reward' properly, my little sweety~" She said as she spread her arms and I m gonna be honest with you, I was tempted to go back in there...
"W-will you tell us what's going on?" I asked trying to distract my mind from thinking irrationally. There was no way I could have taken my mind off of what I had just felt... that softness... I knew that if I didn't distract myself, I would convince myself to go back there... between them.
"Hehe...well, It seems that, I got an increase in strength. It was more or less your 'ability' that did it's magic so I wanted to praise you by giving you something...but, You didn't even take your reward~" She started off seriously but ended at another tease.
"I see. it was about time I guess." I brushed off her tease and nodded at her words. I was expecting her to tell us about her increased strength so my reaction wasn't strong. I looked at Dofu after that.
"So? did you feel any improvement?" Dofu fell into thought at that. It looked like he didn't notice much but, I was wrong...
"Hm...I think I got faster then before...but..." He said as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes, seemingly deep in thought about whether he was right or not.
Amelia's strength had noticable increase but Dofu's speed didn't. that was the reason he wasn't sure. 0.3 points in movement speed was good but that might not be noticable to someone like Dofu who mostly relied on his strong physique to deal with enemies. He never really moved too much around. only moving when the bull charges from a distance so most of the time, he didn't really needed to use his mobility which is also another reason he doesn't find a notable change in his speed. he just rarely uses his speed making him unsure of whether his speed increased or if he already had that much speed.
I tapped on his back a few times to make him come out of his trance.
"Well, if you really think that your agility is the one thing that got boosted then that must be so after all my 'ability' doesn't tell me what it improves but it does improve something. Meaning if you can't feel any other noticable changes in your other abilities then speed must be the one thing that might have improved." I suggested to which Dofu nodded.
Dofu looked a bit down for some reason but as the flow of the conversation was heading towards where I wanted it to, I had to continue with my talk. I could always ask him later why he was down.
"Well, since it seems we all became stronger, and our original goal was achieved, do you all wanna start climbing again?" I asked with a voice that demanded a positive response.
"Hm...I don't know. wouldn't it be better to become a tad more stronger before we start climbing?" Amelia said while tilting her head to the side.
"Well, that is true..."
"But, wouldn't it be better to just start climbing? we can get stronger as long as we all are together. my 'Ability' works when we are together so, we can just be together while we climb. as I said, our goal was to get a bit more stronger to make sure we don't die, I think we wouldn't anymore, not now at least. and we can get stronger as we climb so there isn't really a need to stay on this floor, right? Ah, though, of course, if you have any other reason to stay on this floor, we can still stay..." Huff. I can't believe how much I spoke just to convince them. it felt a bit suspicious to be honest. but it seemed that both of them agree with what I said.
"I guess that is also true..."
"I don't mind either way so..."
I smiled hearing their replay.
"Alright then. Tomorrow, we'll take the floor test!"

Well, next chapter would start the floor test where baam and the others would participate.
I would have liked to say that it would be an exciting arc and it would be but only on some parts. I would be changing some things or I should say, the MC would change some things with just his presence+ Amelia and Dofu but they are minor issues. Of course I would only briefly describe the other party or skip them mostly...
Well, you would know what would change and what would be skipped in the future but until then, Stay turned!
