The next day, we had breakfast and headed out for the testing area. The testing area was more or less a round building that looked like a dome but it was streched upwards.
Even before we entered, we had been stopped by someone at the gates. He seemed to be an official. He Informed us that if we wanted to take the next floor test, we had to pay some points as exam fees of sorts which we gladly paid as we don't lack points and headed in.
Inside, we found that at every 5 meters of distance, a two meter dome of shinsu was set up. These domes had blue coloured shinsu swirling in them. The few regulars that had walked in the building before us, were now standing inside these domes of shinsu and after only a second of standing there, They vanished.
We walked closer to the domes of shinsu and were spotted by an official who was standing beside the shinsu bolb.
"Are you regulars taking the test?" He asked but his tone implied that this was just formality and he already knew our answer.
"Yes, we are." I said.
"Then, one of you step in this shinsu dome. this dome will Teleport you to the testing grounds. that's where the test would be held." He said nodding his head.
"Hm? This isn't where the test would be held?" I asked and received a lazy nod.
"Yeah...This is just the place that transfers regulars to the actual testing area."
"We have to enter one at a time?" Amelia asked and the official nodded again with an annoyed expression.
"Yes. The first test needs to be taken individually, meaning that taking the test as a team isn't allowed. This shinsu dome will Teleport whoever is inside of it to a random location on the testing ground from where you can take the test alone. of course if you decide to form a team during the test that is totally fine but you can't enter the test as a team."
I got the gist of it. Basically, they were separating anyone that wishes to take the test as a team. they wanted regulars to relay on only themselves as they take the test which was fine for me. I know that none of us were weak and could take care of ourselves on our own.
I walked into the dome first and looked at my two companions. They both smiled a bit as I waved at them before disappearing from their sight.
It felt like I had blinked. A slight blackout and then change in scenery. That's all I saw as I got teleported to a field of grassland. The grassland looked similar to the field we were hunting the Bulls but it also looked a bit different. The difference only being the fact that this field also had some rocky terrain. some hills and even a small forest can be seen in the distance.
The place looked similar to the one Baam was teleported at, at the beginning of the first test. High up in the sky, I could also see a floating ship that had Evankhel's name on it.
I knew that the announcement about the start of the first test would soon happen so I waited. It took almost half an hour for that but I was finally able to hear the announcer speak.
The voice that spoke had a childish ting to it. And it was also a male voice unlike the slight feminine voice that we heard in the show.
[WELCOME! REGULARS! Welcome to the Evankhel's second testing area! My name is Quant Blitz and I would be your test administrator for this test.] That wasn't what I was expecting...
[You see...I don't like complicated tests, so, today's test would just be the survival of the fittest. you all have one hour. whoever survives after that hour would pass the test! killing is allowed but only until the one hour mark. There are no other rules! Now, begin! and Good luck to you all!]
(A/N: It has been a while since I watched season one, And I don't wanna watch again, so spare me if I had gotten a detail or two wrong...)
As soon as the announcement stopped, my pocket lighted up and showed me a number.
'400'
It was the current surviving regulars that were taking the test. Though I didn't really look at it too much as my focus was on something else.
'The second testing area?'
If I remember correctly, Baam and the others were on the first testing area. That was the testing area which was supervised by Lero Ro. And the second testing area was where Androisi and Rachael took the test.
I remembered that through the entirety of the second testing area, only three people had passed. somehow, these three had managed to kill all the others... and that was where I was teleported...
*Sigh...
This was a problem. I have no idea what had transpired on this testing area for only three to survive. I mean I can guess what might have happened but, I don't know for sure. Though I am confident that I can overcome whatever that may have happened.
My first priority now should be to find my team. It would be more better to be together then alone after all. Not to mention that the second testing area might have been more difficult then the first...So I wanted us all to be together.
with that thought in mind, I started traveling towards a random direction. I don't know where my team would be in this massive place but I had to look somewhere so I just choose a random direction.
I hadn't moved too far from my earlier position when something happened. I was expecting it, to be honest, so I wasn't surprised.
From a bush in front of me jumped out a person with a knife in his hand as he tried to stab me. I cought the hand that was moving towards me and snatched the knife from his hand.
"Kids shouldn't play with knifes, it could be dangerous." I said with a smirk which pissed him off. To be honest, He was taller then me. He should be around twenty years old and I was just 15, at least my body was. And I was the one who had called him kid...
He pulled his hand back from my grip but of course, I still had his knife which he couldn't retrieve. Giving up on getting the knife back, He jumped back. Then, He took out a short blade which looked to be the main weapon he uses.
I sighed a bit seeing that and took out a small metal piece that looked like it was from a metal pipe. the piece of metal pipe was just the size of my palm. I held the small metal pipe in my palm and squeeze it lightly which made it extend outwards. In the blink on an eye, I had a staff that was as big as me. I held it at my side like a walking stick as I looked at the person rushing towards me.
As soon as he got closer to me, he tried swinging his blade at me to which, I didn't block and just activated my skill–
'Ninjutsu- Shield!'
As soon as the skill got activated, My skin started glowing slightly. The blade that normally should have cut open my skin halted just after touching it and I received no damage.
I picked my staff above my head and without any mercy, hammered it on the head of the person before me. The guy was too stunned after seeing me unharmed from his attack to even consider that an attack was coming and was directly hit in the head.
A loud noise was heard followed by a slamming noise as the body of the guy fell towards the ground.
I looked at the guy on the floor and thought that my work here was done but then I realised that he was still breathing which made me wonder if I should finish the job or not...
At the end, I decided to let the guy be and started making my way towards the direction I was heading in earlier.
After that, A few more guys tried to kill me, well, they 'tried'. Most weren't even a challenge to me if I am being honest but there were one that almost killed me.
Snipers are the most dangerous creatures that are on this test. And as I am right now, I really had no way of dealing with them. The first sniper that I had encountered, almost killed me. It was my luck that I had moved my head a bit to the side when the sniper shot me and the bullet just brushed past my ear.
I was kinda scared...No, I was actually scared shitless after that. To the point where I hid myself inside of the long grass that was growing everywhere. I did start traveling soon after, but now, I would make sure that my body was 80% hidden as I traveled.
As I said, I was scared. Though it was lame, I couldn't help feel that way. I did ran some speculations in my mind about how to deal with the snipers in the future but most of these solutions were about using the Sheild skill which wasn't really a good way as it would need to be activated and I would die before it did activate...
I needed some kind of a way to tell me that there were snipers around me or something that would let me know if people were hiding around me,
Some kind of sensory skill. As long as either of the two wasn't achieved, I wouldn't be confident in dealing with snipers.
*Bhoom...*
I was still traveling while hiding like before when I heard a loud boom. It came from somewhere on my left. I could see smoke rising in the sky as I looked in the direction. I didn't know what to expect but I still headed that way.
It had been more or less twenty minutes since the start of the test and I more or less had killed around six people by now. I didn't kill the first person that had attacked me, if I had, then it would have been seven now instead of six. I did get sixty gold through that though, which was nice.
I looked at the amount of Gold that I now currently had as I walked towards the place I heard the loud noise from.

Well, it didn't have a huge change but it would change little by little just like it had before.
Turning my attention from money to the situation before me, I looked at the cause of the loud noise. It was from a fight... but the fight was already over it seemed and three people were standing where the fight had taken place...
I knew all three of them...Short brown hair and a small horn on the right side of her forehead, she was also a princess of Jahad, Androsi Jahad. A yellow haired irregular who thinks that she is a star but isn't even sh*t, Rachel. A behemoth of a creature who is also a servent of Headon, Akryung.
These three were the only survivors from this test in the show. Looking closely, They were talking about something which I couldn't quite hear. Though they only talked for a minute before Rachel and Akryung started walking away.
I frowned as I realised that they were walking towards my direction. I started moving towards another place after realising that. When I saw both of them still moving towards my previous general direction, I felt relieved as that meant that they hadn't spotted me yet.
*Thud* Suddenly I heard a voice from below my legs.
I looked down to find that I had stepped on a branch. I quickly looked at the two people that were walking by to find that they just continued on their way without stopping. It seemed like they didn't hear it.
I looked down again as I felt that it was just soo cliche whatever that had just happened.
I decided to continue walking towards another direction even after the two had successfully left from my sight since I wanted to get a bit further away from them. I only stopped after I came across a large rock. I took cover behind that as I sat down.
"That tree branch was just too perfectly placed there...where did that even came from? there are hardly any trees in this huge field!" I lamented.
"Hm...Maybe a higher existence put it there as a joke?" I heard a voice besides me.
I snapped my head to the side to find familiar face staring back at me. The person had short brown hair...
"Oh my..." And a small horn on her forehead...
"I know I am beautiful but you shouldn't stare at a lady like that you know?" She was also, a princess of Jahad...
"Though, I guess I could allow you to stare since you are also kinda cute." It was Androsi Jahad.
