Jade's POV
I was utterly shocked at the sudden transformation. That was definitely not the Andrew I knew.
I slowly brought my shaky palms to my face, gently using it to wipe my face as if to clear my eyes. I did that and looked at Andrew again only to see the same thing.
"No... No..." I said more to myself, my brain telling me I wasn't seeing clearly.
"Take her outside now." Andrew snapped at Lydia, baring his teeth... fangs. Then, he turned to face the mysterious man.
"Let's go outside for now. I assure you it is not as bad as you think." Lydia said to me, wanting to take my hand but I shook my head.
"Not as bad as I think, but bad, right?" I wondered inwardly, shaking my head. My palms were getting sweaty.
"Jade, please let's go outside. He is going to take care of those intruders but we need to give him space to do that." Lydia said, looking at me with pleading eyes. I couldn't describe it but there was something in her eyes that made me allow her to lead me outside.
