Andrew's POV
I burst out of the restaurant, my paws pounding against the pavement. All that my wolf and I could think of was how to rip off the head of the one who dared to lay hands on our wolf.
I got outside and I was hit by the heavy scent of fear -- Jade's and Lydia's fear. That mingled with another scent-- the pungent, rotten scent of rogues.
"How dare they?" I snarled angrily.
As I rounded the corner to the parking lot, I saw them. Two large men were there. One of them was pressing Jade against the car, strangling her. The other one was holding down Lydia who was trying to shield Jade. That one didn't seem like he was planning to hurt Lydia; it was obvious they were only there to hurt my mate.
Big mistake. No one would lay hands on my mate and go scotfree.
