Seeing Jia Xuan, Lingtuo didn't show any emotion at all. He was natural, calm; he neither took the initiative to speak to her, nor showed any intention of driving her out.
Jia Xuan, however, felt a bit ill at ease. After closing the door, she just stood by it and asked him, "You clearly heard me knocking. Why didn't you respond?"
Lingtuo found it amusing. "We're husband and wife. Do you still need to knock when you enter your own husband's room?"
Jia Xuan was left speechless.
Lingtuo turned to go to the bathroom, and Jia Xuan stepped forward a few paces to grab his sleeve. "Didn't you just say… say you'd tell me what's in the will?"
Lingtuo was using this matter to keep a tight hold on her. In fact, he never planned to show her the will; he was afraid she'd be heartbroken after reading it. Bringing it up earlier had just been a helpless attempt to use it as an excuse to make her stay.
So he wasn't going to talk about it now.
