(3rd Pov)
In a small opening in a forest right by a lake, there was a duo of boys sitting around a fire pit, a singular tent is set up, The two boys around the fire were Oliver Black, and Ash Ketchum.
"Really Ash, you only brought clothing with you in your backpack" Oliver said in disbelief as Ash chuckles and rubs the back of his head "Heha Yeah" Ash said a little embarrassed.
Oliver also chuckled at Ash's face, "Truly a beautiful spot isn't it" Oliver said as he looked around the area that was somewhat lit up by the setting sun and the fire, the pokemon around them just running around and playing.
Ash in response to what Oliver said nodded his head "Yeah, it is" Ash said as he looked around as well. "Well I guess I should do a little bit of Catching," Oliver said as he stood up and rummaged through his backpack.
Eventually, after a bit of rummaging through his backpack Oliver brings out a few more pokeballs "I had my mom and Dad buy me some extra pokeballs before our journey began," Oliver said as he held up 10 extra pokeballs, he also still had 6 Luxury balls in his inventory.
"That's so smart, Oliver, I should have done that too, dang it" Ash said as Oliver chuckled. "Yah snooze Ya lose," Oliver said imitating Gary, as both of the boys burst out into laughter.
Standing up, Oliver began walking over to the river in hopes of finding a certain Pokémon. "What Pokémon are you trying to find, Oliver?" Ash asked as he saw his friend going over to the river.
"You'll see," Oliver said as he reached the river, seeing his trainer going over to the river. Bulbasaur followed behind. Looking into the river, Oliver saw quite a few Pokémon within the water.
There were a few Magikarps, Goldeens, Remoraids, and then Oliver finally saw A Pokémon he wanted, one he didn't think he would find here in this river.
"Bulbasaur use Vine Whip and grab that one out of the river," Oliver commanded his Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur, hearing the command, used its vines to grab the Pokémon out of the water.
The Pokémon was grabbed out of the water and flew onto the ground. "Horse-seaaa," The Pokémon said out loud, revealing that it was a horsea, but instead of being blue, it was a different shade of Blue compared to a normal horsea. It also had scales covering the backside of it, making it look different than a normal Horsea.
The Horsea looked at the larger-than-normal Bulbasaur that pulled it out of the river angrily as it launched a rainbow colored beam out of its mouth at Bulbasaur.
Seeing this, Oliver was surprised, so he instinctively said, "Bulbasaur, use your vines to push yourself out of the way of the beam." As he said this, Bulbasaur tried pushing himself out of the way, but the beam still hit his legs, his legs freezing at the touch of the beam, causing Bulbasaur to cry out in pain.
Suddenly, a screen popped up in front of Oliver's face, which he ignored as he looked at his Bulbasaur, "Bulbasaur, are you ok? Can you keep going?" Olivber asked Bulbasaur, and Bulbasaur nodded his head. Oliver nodded back.
The horsea who just used that attack seemingly had gotten a little slower and tired after using the attack, "Bulbasaur use Power Whip," Oliver Commanded as Bulbasaur Went and used Vine whip, but the Vines combined as grass energy covered the Whips as it slammed into the Horsea.
The Horsea being hit by this move got launched back into the nearest tree nearby. Bulbasaur, after using this move, visibly tired out, but was still standing in the spot.
"Good Job, Bulbasaur," Oliver said as he petted Bulbasaur, and looked over at the Horsea, which was knocked out and was lying against the tree.
Oliver, looking at the Horsea, smiled. "You're Special, I'll use one of these on you," he said as he reached into his pocket and, using his inventory, took out one of the Luxury balls. As he approached, a screen appeared in front of Oliver's eyes.

'A mutated Horsea, no wonder this thing is strong enough to tank a Vine whip slam from my Bulbasaur, and I encountered it without Lucky Encounter,' Oliver thought as he approached
Walking up to the Horsea, Oliver tapped the Luxury Ball onto the top of the knocked-out Horsea, the Horsea getting sucked into the pokeball, the ball instantly shaking three times before signalling that the Pokémon was caught.
"Oliver, you caught a third Pokémon, you're such an awesome trainer, though that Horsea did look weirder than normal," Ash said as he ran over to Oliver, Pikachu riding on his shoulder.
Looking over at Ash, he nodded his head, "Yeah, it did look weirder than a normal Horsea, it looked to have scales on its body, kinda like a dragon type." Oliver said as he pressed the center button of the luxury ball and released the Horsea.
The horsea was seemingly back up and awake; it seemed that capturing the horsea in the luxury ball healed it enough to wake up. "Oh, so you're awake, huh?" Oliver said as the Horsea looked over at him, with Bulbasaur sitting right next to his leg.
Seeing the Bulbasaur, Horsea got pretty agitated. "Hor-seaaaa," the Horsea said as the Bulbasaur looked at it with a little glare before it said "Bulba" with a smug face as the Horsea got a little Irk on its face.
Ash and Oliver look at each other as they look at the Bulbasaur and Horsea fighting, and they have the same thought: 'Are they fighting?' They had a deadpan look on their faces as the two fought for a few minutes until the Horsea nodded its head in acceptance.
"Well, Horsea, I hope you understand that I'm your trainer now?" Oliver asked the Horsea, which nodded as Bulbasaur laughed at it. "Good work, Bulbasaur. Come here, you two, let me take care of your injuries," Oliver said as he petted Bulbasaur on the head and took two potions out of his bag
Using the potions on both Bulbasaur and Horsea, they both healed up some of their injuries. "Don't worry, tomorrow we'll finish the trip to Viridian and then I'll visit the Pokémon Center," Oliver explained to the two Pokémon as they nodded their heads.
"Ughh, I want to catch a Pokémon, you've caught 2 already and I've caught none," Ash said in a kinda down tone, as he held one of the pokeballs Professor Oak gave him. He was flailing his arms around.
Suddenly, as Oliver went to speak, the pokeball in Ash's hand fell out of his hand and struck a Magikarp on the top of the head that was in the river. As the ball hit the Magikarp, the Pokémon got sucked into the Poké Ball.
The ball landed on the river side as it shook three times before the signal that a Pokémon had been caught shone. "What were you saying, Ash? You caught a Magikarp," Oliver said in astonishment at the mishap. Ash rubbed the back of his head in surprise as well.

Well, that's the chapter; it will probably be the last chapter that focuses on Oliver catching a Pokémon that is stronger than normal.
He will still probably catch a few Pokémon in the next couple of chapters, but they won't be as insane as the three he just caught. After all he still needs to complete the pokedex, he's only caught 3 so far out of 1025.
