Looking at Ash's figure appearing on the television screen, Dr. Fuji felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity, though he couldn't quite place where he had seen this young trainer before.

"That's absolutely right!" Blaine's voice came through firmly from the other end of the phone line.

"Is there something particularly special about this boy?" Dr. Fuji asked, his curiosity piqued. Although he felt that strange sense of recognition, he still couldn't understand what made this trainer so remarkable that Blaine would entrust him with such a crucial mission.

"I still remember the first time I encountered this kid..." Blaine found himself unconsciously recalling their initial meeting, remembering Ash's brave words when he faced both Agatha and Lance. A smile unconsciously spread across his lips as he remembered that moment.

Dr. Fuji was genuinely surprised when he heard what Blaine was telling him. When faced with Champion Lance and Elite Four member Agatha, most rookie trainers would probably be at a complete loss for words, rendered speechless by the overwhelming presence of such legendary figures.

Yet Ash's performance had been truly unexpected. Not only had he stood his ground, but when facing Blaine in a completely serious battle, he had still managed to emerge victorious and earn the Cinnabar Badge. His natural talent was genuinely remarkable. Most other rookie trainers who had obtained the Cinnabar Badge had only succeeded because Blaine had held back considerably during their battles.

"Do you truly believe he can surpass Agatha, or even Lance himself?" After a moment of contemplation, Dr. Fuji spoke again, his voice carrying a hint of skepticism.

"I have complete confidence in him!" Blaine responded without the slightest hesitation.

"But why?" Dr. Fuji pressed, listening to his friend's unwavering response with growing curiosity. What could possibly make Blaine believe so blindly in this young trainer's potential?

"Because I can sense that there exists an incomparable bond between this child and his Pokémon!" Blaine replied with warmth in his voice. Even though it was merely a feeling he had, he believed that this intuition wasn't born from blind confidence, but rather something that Ash himself had inspired in him.

"A bond?" Dr. Fuji murmured thoughtfully. After hearing those words, he unconsciously turned his head to look at an old, weathered box sitting on the cabinet beside the television, then shifted his gaze back to the screen in front of him.

Meanwhile, in Rainbow City, Giovanni had obtained the control device and taken a helicopter to the vicinity where the three Legendary Birds were engaged in battle with Lance. Through the sophisticated controller, he was able to command the three Legendary Birds with remarkable precision.

Giovanni seemed far more capable of controlling the overwhelming power of the three Legendary Birds than Archer had been. Although Lance's Dragonite was incredibly strong, it was still struggling against the combined might of the three Legendary Pokémon.

The most troubling aspect of the situation was that none of Dragonite's attacks seemed to cause any meaningful damage to the three Legendary Birds. They appeared to possess an endless wellspring of power, making them nearly unstoppable.

In stark contrast to Lance's growing concern, Giovanni sat in the helicopter with an expression of dull indifference as he controlled the Three Sacred Birds. Unlike Archer, who had clearly reveled in wielding such tremendous power, Giovanni showed no signs of enjoyment or satisfaction.

At that moment, Ash arrived on Charizard's back, approaching the location where the three Legendary Birds were battling Lance's Dragonite. The surrounding streets had been reduced to complete devastation, with buildings crumbling and debris scattered everywhere.

Fortunately, the local police had successfully evacuated all the citizens from the danger zone. However, if this destructive battle continued much longer, the entire city would be reduced to rubble by the ongoing conflict between these powerful forces.

"I have to find a way to reach them!" Ash declared firmly, clutching the box containing the separation device tightly in his hands as he stared determinedly at the three Legendary Birds.

BOOM!

The three Legendary Birds launched their attacks simultaneously, unleashing another devastating Tri Attack. Under Giovanni's precise control, they forced Dragonite toward an area densely packed with tall buildings before launching their coordinated assault.

Although Dragonite possessed incredible speed, the narrow space filled with towering structures severely limited its ability to maneuver and dodge the incoming attacks.

"Dragonite, use Hyper Beam!" Lance called out desperately. Seeing no other viable option, he decided to fight fire with fire. Upon hearing its trainer's command, Dragonite gathered an enormous amount of energy and released a powerful Hyper Beam to counter the incoming Tri Attack head-on.

However, the outcome was predictably one-sided. Dragonite's power was gradually being overwhelmed by the combined strength of the three Legendary Birds.

Lance's expression grew increasingly grim as he witnessed this display. He flew closer to Dragonite's position and reached for another Poké Ball at his belt.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!" At that critical moment, Lance heard a familiar voice ring out from behind the three Legendary Birds. A powerful stream of flames suddenly shot through the air, striking all three Legendary Pokémon directly from behind.

CRACK!

The three Legendary Birds let out synchronized cries of pain and surprise as large amounts of smoke and flames erupted from behind them.

"Dragonite, take advantage of this opening!" Lance's eyes flashed with renewed hope as he seized the momentary opportunity to issue his command.

ROAR!

Dragonite fought back with renewed vigor, the power of its Hyper Beam intensifying dramatically. While the three Legendary Birds were distracted and disoriented by the surprise attack from behind, Dragonite's Hyper Beam gradually began to overpower their combined Tri Attack.

EXPLOSION!

The three Legendary Birds found themselves caught between two powerful attacks. The collision of Hyper Beam and Flamethrower created an absolutely tremendous explosion, with fire and smoke instantly engulfing all three Legendary Pokémon.

Lance breathed a sigh of relief when he saw this turn of events, then glanced over at the figure who had arrived on Charizard's back to provide assistance.

At the same time, Giovanni, who had been sitting in the helicopter with apparent disinterest, noticed Ash's arrival. A trace of genuine curiosity slowly began to appear in his calculating eyes.

"Let's go, Charizard!" Ash didn't waste time with lengthy explanations or conversations with Lance. Instead, he immediately signaled for Charizard to approach the three Legendary Birds directly.

ROAR!

After hearing Ash's command, Charizard immediately carried its trainer toward the location of the three Legendary Birds. At that moment, Giovanni, who was observing from his helicopter, stood up and placed one hand on the aircraft's door.

"Use Blizzard!" Giovanni commanded coldly.

CRACK!

From within the flames and smoke of the explosion, the distinctive cry of the three Legendary Birds could be heard once again. Articuno was visible through the chaos, spreading its magnificent wings and creating an absolutely massive storm in an instant.

Within this enormous tempest, mixing frigid ice crystals and snow, a large-scale Blizzard attack roared outward, heading directly toward Ash and his Charizard.

"Pika!" Pikachu quickly grabbed onto Ash's shoulders for support, while Jigglypuff was nearly blown away along with Ash's signature hat. When Ash noticed this, he pressed his hat down firmly with one hand while grabbing Jigglypuff with the other, quickly stuffing the small Pokémon safely inside his jacket.

Being caught in the middle of the powerful Blizzard attack, Ash felt as though his entire body was freezing solid. He gripped Charizard's neck tightly to prevent himself from falling from such a dangerous height.

"Use Fire Spin!" Faced with this ultimate Ice-type move, Ash knew he could only counter with a Fire-type attack. Charizard immediately released flames directly forward, and simultaneously, the flames created powerful air currents that formed a scorching vortex in front of them. Although this didn't completely dissolve the Blizzard attack, it managed to create a clear path directly ahead. Charizard followed the Fire Spin's trajectory and successfully broke through the Blizzard's assault.
