Symbiote Loki's expression instantly stiffened, squinting his eyes as he said, "This is impossible!"
"There's nothing impossible in this world!" Arthur snapped his fingers. Snap! Like a mountain crashing down, a heavy, overwhelming pressure descended.
An immense force suddenly crushed down with a roar. The black shadow immediately fell from midair to the ground, unable even to lift his head.
An angry roar escaped his mouth, but under the crushing force, the ground beneath him kept collapsing downward. The furious roar gradually turned into a miserable scream.
Arthur slowly approached. Flames like dragons soared up, swirling around him as he calmly spoke, "Leave his body!"
The black substance tried to gather, but Venom shouted hoarsely, "I can't do it!! He won't let me go!!!"
Arthur paused. 'Could it be Loki's doing?'
But thinking about it, it made sense. Venom was basically a goofball, so it shouldn't be this bad. Arthur raised an eyebrow and crouched down. "How does it feel?"
"Kill me if you can!" Loki roared angrily, pain lacing his voice. The pressure on his head was unbearable. He couldn't have dreamed that after a short time apart, Arthur's strength had risen to such a level!
'This guy still claimed to be human?'
'Who would believe that?'
He was basically a demon, no, even demons weren't this terrifying!
"I told you, we can get along peacefully." The flames whooshed and vanished as Arthur reached out and grabbed Loki's shoulder.
The gravity was unbearable for Loki, but had no effect on Arthur. He pulled Loki out of the pit. "Let him go, or I'll remove you from this throne early. I think we can continue this fragile agreement between us. Breaking it won't do you any good!"
"I don't think being used by you all the time benefits me either!"
Loki gritted his teeth, the force on his head repeatedly smashing him. He could barely lift his head but persisted: "No matter how strong you are, you can never change my mind!!!!!!"
"Uh… I never intended to change your mind," Arthur said. "I just plan to change your body. Hmm, you might not understand this, but I intend to break your hands and feet, then crush your ribs, so you can't control Venom. That, I can do. Besides, I recently got a very skilled medic who can easily restore you to full health… And you should understand what the ultimate consequence of this is: the best outcome is you tried hard and gained nothing!"
"If you dare do that to me, you'll never leave Asgard!!"
"Hmm…" Arthur smiled. "Unmask the traitor Loki, pull you down from the throne, and then I can summon Thor back to lead Asgard's affairs again. This won't affect anyone or anything. As for me, I'm still Asgard's hero. And you… will still have to pay for everything you've done!"
"Though I've been listening, that doesn't sound like something a righteous person would say!"
Venom interjected opportunely: "And how does this guy seal his body so I can't come out? He's like a magic sorcerer. I can't control myself!"
"Shut up!" Arthur and Loki said in unison.
Venom sheepishly replied, "Well, you guys go on. I'm listening… but remember to let me out, or I can't get out. His body's strong, but I still prefer Brock. At least his house isn't guarded, no traps inside!"
What kind of chaos is this?
With all this nonsense, Arthur even forgot what he wanted to say.
After reorganizing his thoughts, Arthur looked at Loki, and Loki looked back at Arthur. Finally, the God of Mischief sighed deeply, "You win again!"
The black substance began to surge out from Loki's body and moved toward Arthur. Then Venom's voice sounded in Arthur's ear: "Wow, is this the palace? Buddy, if we can merge, we could sweep across the entire universe!!!"
"I think I could kill you instantly, too. Seriously, I'm not threatening you. I tried before, but that Symbiote died in seconds," Arthur said. "I'll release Brock soon, then you two can merge. Before that, don't mess with the power inside my body, or you'll die."
"What a buzzkill," Venom's voice replied.
Arthur waved his hand, and Loki was thrown back into the pit. Loki tried to get up but couldn't move.
With a thought, Brock appeared beside Arthur, rolling on the ground and groaning: "Oh god, what's going on? I feel like my brain is doing ballet inside my skull!"
That was the first time Arthur heard such a description.
As someone who had been through this, Arthur felt that description couldn't be more accurate.
"So now you understand why I always knock people out before storing the Symbiote?" Arthur casually drew the Eye of Horus. Golden light enveloped him, gradually easing his dizziness.
Meanwhile, a hand pressed on Brock's shoulder, as if to drive something out. Venom whooshed back onto Brock, then exclaimed in surprise: "Brock, your brain looks all red, like a giant shrimp, but it seems to be recovering now. What exactly did you just experience?"
"I want to know too," Brock said, still dry-heaving and miserable, almost wanting to die on the spot, but he still asked, "What actually happened just now?"
After Arthur briefly explained, Brock looked quite envious: "How does he control Venom like that?"
"I want to know as well." Arthur stroked his chin. Actually, he could control the Symbiote to some extent.
But his method was crude and straightforward; he sealed his own body to force the Symbiote… and what he could do was limited. For example, expelling the Symbiote as he just did was easy for him, but activating the Symbiote's power to enhance himself. That part he was still clueless about.
Looking back now, although things were a bit chaotic, there were still some gains.
"If you two are done discussing… can you take this damn gravity off me? I'm dying here!"
Loki's faint voice came from the bottom of the pit, barely hanging on…
