A full green robe covered the figure from head to toe, tightly wrapped with not a sliver of skin exposed. Brock looked quite surprised; being able to wrap oneself up like that was indeed a skill.
"Who is this? Are there entertainment stars in the divine realm, too?" Brock asked Arthur curiously.
The green hood was lifted, revealing a handsome face. Without even glancing at Brock, the man looked at Arthur with a deep, inherent arrogance and aloofness: "In Asgard, there are many secrets you don't know. Even though you are now the so-called God of War, don't think that title gives you any greater understanding of this place!"
"Now is not the time to declare sovereignty."
Arthur rolled his eyes. "Besides, strictly speaking, a dead man has no right to come before me and declare sovereignty."
After saying that, he looked at Brock: "Let Venom enter his body. I want to see if the symbiosis can succeed."
Brock nodded and approached Loki.
Loki frowned. "You want this Earthling to touch me, a noble Asgardian?"
"Less nonsense." Arthur shot Brock a look, then said, "Go for it."
Brock was dumbfounded. Why the look if you're going to talk anyway? And what does "go for it" even mean?
He hesitated for a moment. "I'm not really interested in this…"
Still, he reached out to grab Loki. Just as Loki was about to dodge, an unknown force suddenly crushed down, rendering his entire body immobile! Taking a deep breath, Loki gritted his teeth and glared at Arthur: "This is not fun!"
"Not everything has to be from the perspective of fun." Arthur watched as Brock grabbed Loki's hand, and the black substance gradually transferred from Brock's body onto Loki's.
Loki's brows furrowed tightly. "What is this?"
No sooner had he spoken than his eyes widened. The light all over his body began blinking rapidly, like a faulty light bulb. He desperately tried to pull his hand back, struggling to break free. The immense force made Brock lose control of his grip, and Loki was thrown to the ground by this power! But the black Symbiote was layering over and creeping onto his body.
Brock stepped back several paces, and Arthur steadied him by holding his shoulder. The two of them watched as Loki sat on the ground.
Loki shook his head and got up. "What's inside my mind? A noisy voice, very unpleasant!"
"Looks like it worked." Arthur sighed. Success meant the Asgardian gods were not immune to the Symbiote's parasitism. So hoping to bring Symbiotes to Asgard and have them be harmless caretakers was unrealistic.
He sighed again. "Bring Venom back."
"Back?"
Loki suddenly flipped over and jumped up. "Bring who back? Back to where? I feel stronger than ever right now!!!!!!"
The dark substance began to surge from every part of Loki's body. In moments, it completely enveloped him. The voices of Venom and Loki merged together: "I've had enough of your threats, but I never thought you'd hand me power yourself. This will be the biggest mistake you've ever made in your life!!!!!!"
"Looks like things are getting a bit bad," Brock quickly said to Arthur.
Arthur nodded. "Clearly, these two want to rebel!"
"What do we do now?" Brock was shocked.
"You have two choices now," Arthur said. "One is to stand outside and watch. The other is for me to knock you out. When you wake up, everything will have recovered and returned to normal!"
"I absolutely will not let you knock me out!"
As he spoke, Loki suddenly stretched out his hand, uprooting a massive tree that at least five men could barely encircle. Dirt flew and roots spread as the tree floated up, charging like a rocket toward Arthur and Brock.
Arthur grabbed Brock's shoulder, and the next moment, his wings spread wide behind him. In an instant, the two of them were airborne.
But the tree chased after them, and Brock was terrified!
Before, with Venom around, even if Arthur dragged him flying wildly through the sky, Brock felt confident enough not to be scared.
But now, that didn't seem to be the case! If Arthur slipped up for even a moment, Brock would be minced meat in seconds! He hurriedly shouted, "Then just knock me out!"
"It's too late for that," Arthur said. "You'll have to experience this yourself."
"What?" Brock was still confused when suddenly he vanished without a trace. Moments later, a tree howled with the wind, rushing over. Arthur extended his hand, unleashing a mysterious energy into the air. With a boom, under the crushing force of two powers, the tree instantly shattered into flying wood chips.
The black shadow instantly rose into midair, hovering just like Arthur.
Taking a deep breath, Venom and Loki's voices rang out simultaneously: "This incredibly wonderful feeling, I should let my brother experience it too. But before that, I need to deal with you! You know, I've long since had enough of your threats!"
"Wrong decision."
Arthur sighed. "That decision won't bring you any happiness. On the contrary, it will make you experience what pain really means."
"If that's the case, can you still say such words?"
Suddenly, the figure before Arthur split in two, then four, then eight… In moments, at least forty or fifty black Symbiote Lokis surrounded Arthur in midair.
Layer upon layer of encirclement, all the Symbiotes suddenly stretched out their hands. The black, sticky substance burst out from their palms!
First, Arthur's eyes were covered instantly, followed by his hands and feet. Then the Symbiotes in the sky began spinning around, the black substance winding constantly around Arthur's body. In moments, a black sphere was formed.
With a loud crash, it slammed onto the ground!
All the Symbiote Lokis vanished, and the black shadow slowly descended before the black sphere, tilting its head and sneering: "Foolish mortal, perhaps you won't even realize before your death how dangerous and ridiculous your actions truly were!"
"Yeah, I really don't know."
Arthur's voice suddenly came from within the black sphere. The next moment, golden light exploded from the edges of the black ball, cracks spreading in brilliant golden streaks, irregular but astonishing!
Without a sound, the black sphere burst into the tiniest dust particles in the universe. Arthur, expressionless, looked at the pitch-black figure before him and grinned wickedly: "Kids who don't listen deserve a spanking."
