Limed Lake turned out to be just... a small lake, really.
The mountains surrounding it did give a fairly magical impression, but nothing super special. It didn't glow or have colorful aquatic life. There was a rumor of an artificial lake in the Russian Federation somewhere that gave its Evolved a little boost, but this wasn't it.
"You were right to have those fears," said Tetsuya.
We looked out at the large amount of people, mostly on blankets or swimming in the water. No magical lake here, just a public pool from the looks of it.
"We are here now. Let's find a good spot closer to the water."
Kay took Ranni's hand from me and pulled her down the hill.
"So... what were you guys talking about?" I asked Tetsuya, walking behind the girls.
"She introduced herself. I don't know if she's into me. Did you hear something?"
"Oh... just that she's a super nice person, down to earth, etc. Come on, we're getting left behind."
