TAE'S POV
Episode 4 – "Dreams & Turbulence"
"Ahh... baby, I've missed this," Kim whispered, voice thick with desire. I smiled against his lips, tasting the longing in every breath we shared.
The plane hummed gently beneath us, and around us, the cabin was dim—passengers deep in sleep, tucked into their quiet dreams.
But mine?
Mine had just begun.
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him into my lap, his thighs warm and snug around me. Our kiss deepened, desperate and heady with a year's worth of aching.
"How did you know I was on this plane?" I murmured, trailing kisses down his neck, leaving my mark.
He moaned softly. "Don't forget… we're connected. Even when you left for Bangkok, I could feel you. That's why I didn't call. I just… knew."
Strange. I'd changed phones. Switched SIMs. Cut every thread tying us together. And yet…
"That's why I kept feeling like you were right beside me," I murmured, brushing his hair back.
He smirked and tugged at my shirt.
"People might see—" I began, but he cut me off with another kiss, eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Trust me," he whispered, voice dripping seduction. "Even if we scream, no one will hear us."
Was it just me, or had he changed?
There was something more dangerous in the way he touched me.
More confident.
More... addictive.
Before I could fully process, his clothes vanished—like silk slipping off skin—and I gasped. "Kim… what are you—?"
He smirked, sliding closer. "Your turn. I've missed your body… Let me see you."
His lips danced across my neck, leaving heat in their wake, and soon, I was stripped down to nothing but want. My fingers tangled in his hair as he lowered his head—
And then—
I gasped awake.
"Shit…"
My pants were soaked.
Not again.
I rubbed my face, trying to blink reality back into focus. The cabin was quiet. People still asleep. The dream—so vivid I could still taste him on my tongue.
Then a hand touched my shoulder.
I nearly jumped out of my skin.
I turned.
It was him.
No—not him.
The nerd.
Of course.
"Did you follow me?" I asked, trying to cover my embarrassment with annoyance.
He blinked. Adjusted his glasses. "I didn't."
Right.
"So what are you doing here then?" I narrowed my eyes.
He silently handed me a towel and pointed to my… yeah. That.
Fuck.
Blushing, I took the towel and headed to the bathroom. Cold water. Cold thoughts. Cold everything.
When I returned, I sat beside him again. "Tell me the truth. Why are you here?"
He looked sheepish, like a puppy that just knocked over a vase.
"I really didn't mean to pry," he began. "I just heard... sounds. Then I looked back and saw you kind of… smiling in your sleep. Then, um, moaning. Then—well—uh... yeah." He was practically glowing red.
I groaned, covering my face. "You didn't answer my real question. How did you know I was on this plane?"
"I swear I didn't know!" he insisted. "I'm Korean too. I'm visiting my mom during the school break. Pure coincidence."
I stared at him.
Of all the people on the same flight… the universe just had to do this.
"Can we keep this between us?" I asked.
He chuckled, pushing up his glasses. "Sure. I don't have friends anyway, so I won't even remember it happened."
I laughed, genuinely, for the first time in a long while.
We fell into silence.
Eventually, the plane began its descent. The sky outside looked like a bleeding sunset.
By the time we touched down, I was gripping the gifts tighter than ever.
Kim's birthday.
I wasn't here to stir up feelings.
I was just here… to watch him smile again.
Even if it was from a distance.
Even if I had to lie to myself the whole time.
