Synopsis
After the death of Eren Yeager and the end of the curse of Ymir Fritz and the Titans, peace and coexistence persisted between Eldia and Marley for several years. However, human animosity, the pain of the past, and the thirst for power resurfaced, reigniting devastating wars. Despite technological advancements following the Earth-shattering incident (the Rumbling), these conflicts led to massive losses and deepened hatred between the two peoples. On Paradis Island, the legend of the former hero Eren Yeager spread among Eldian children through the fourth dimension of the Paths. While many dismiss it as nothing more than a myth, our protagonist, Yagami Ackerman, dreams of harnessing the power of the legendary tree to halt the endless wars and save Eldia once and for all. I would like to note that understanding the story might be somewhat challenging if you haven't watched the Attack on Titan anime, but I will do my best to explain and simplify the open-ended conclusion of the anime throughout the novel. This is my first story on this platform, fueled by the inspiration I received from the series. English is not my native language, but I will do my best to deliver an enjoyable read. Lastly, I hope you support me by granting Power Stones, and I hope the novel appeals to manga enthusiasts in general and Attack on Titan fans in particular. Thank you for giving it a chance!

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

After the incident of the Earth's shaking and Eren's killing of about 80% of humanity, a peace and truce were established between Paradis Island and Marley. People lived without wars for many years, witnessing significant technological advancements year after year. Skyscrapers rose to create modern and astonishing landmarks, buildings reached unprecedented heights, and fast advanced cars dominated the streets. Military aircraft were not an exception, evolving with modern technology to possess high-quality tactical capabilities.

Despite this progress, wars loomed on the horizon, causing massive losses, both structural and human, especially on Paradis Island. The world still harbors resentment towards Eldians, and these conflicts manifested in painful events, revealing the fragility of apparent peace. These wars and fluctuations continued for over 1000 years since the Earth-shaking incident, leading to the time of our story.

Our protagonist, Yagami Ackerman, is a 16-year-old boy with a strong build. He rarely removes a red scarf, clinging to it even though he doesn't understand why. Yagami has a fondness for animals and raises a dog, living in the Sina region.

"(Despite the destruction of Paradis Island's walls 1000 years ago, the names of the walls continued to be passed down through generations. Now, they are used to name different regions. The northern borders are called Rose, the southern borders are named Maria, and the central area of the island is referred to as the Central Sina region.)"

Yagami lived an orphaned life after losing his parents in the destructive war at the age of 12, alongside Marley, where they sacrificed their lives for him. He continued to live amid memories of love and loss, trying hard to adapt to this harsh reality. The support and care he found from his grandfather, Minato Ackerman, became the guiding force that gave meaning to Yagami's life.

(Minato, a highly valued figure in Paradis Island, was the former police chief in his youth. However, after retirement, he often indulges in alcohol and has a fondness for girls, occasionally stealing glances at them).

Yagami also has a close friend named Haruka Fritz, a beautiful blonde girl and the daughter of King Kenji Fritz of Paradis. (Despite occasional disagreements with her father due to her love for playing with the island's children, she is allowed to play with Yagami due to his grandfather's reputation).

People on Paradis Island now live under the dome, or as they call it on the island, the Dome of Safety, which they were forced to build due to missiles from Marleyan warplanes that usually attacked at night. Day by day, with the continuation of the war and the deaths of many people, the routine of waking up and sleeping remained the same, with fear of missiles that could kill them, fear of war. However, after a period and losses on both sides – Paradis and Marley – King Kenji Fritz and the rulers of Marley reached a mysterious truce to halt the war. The details of the agreement and specified conditions were not disclosed, adding a mysterious and undisclosed touch to this temporary ceasefire for everyone.

After the war stopped due to the truce, some happiness returned to the residents of Eldia. They began to emerge from the Dome of Safety and gradually started reclaiming some aspects of their normal lives. They initiated the rehabilitation of damaged areas, provided humanitarian aid to the affected, and some youth even returned to using the undamaged cars for racing.

As for Yagami, Haruka, and their third friend, Yuri Arlet (a child of the same age as Yagami, with blond hair, high intelligence, but often mocked by other island children), due to the war, their favorite volleyball tennis court was destroyed.

( It's a game where players try to catch and directly return a flying disc). They had to search for a vast, tree-free space to play.

"Oh, oh, this area looks great. What do you think of it?" Yuri nods his head.

"Well, let's hurry before my dad starts looking for me," Haruka answers.

Yagami takes the disc and throws it forcefully towards Yuri, causing him to drop it when he tried to catch it.

"What strength, as usual. There's no wonder in that; you're an Ackerman," Yuri says, smiling.

"Hahaha, you still repeat this myth about the legendary strength of the Ackermans. It's just a myth. I am strong, that's all," Yagami responds with an angry tone.

But as usual, Jimmy and his troublemaker friends arrived.

"Hey, hey, hey, this is our area. Go play in the rubble," Jimmy said arrogantly.

"We got here first," Yuri replied.

"Oh, the crybaby. I'm surprised you held up despite the war. Seems like you have a long tongue," one of Jimmy's group responded.

"Leave us alone. Haven't you forgotten what happened to you the last time?" Yagami replied with indifference.

Jimmy grabbed Haruka by the back of her hair and tried to hit her, but Yagami intervened, swiftly taking down Jimmy with one blow. However, one of Jimmy's followers tried to stab him from behind with a knife. Suddenly, Haruka intervened and took the hit in her hand.

"Hey, you fool, you've hit the governor's daughter! Are you insane?" Jimmy exclaimed in fear.

Due to the panic caused by the person who harmed Haruka, he wanted to strike her with a knife again, but Yagami held her, sustaining some scratches from the knife, and fled with Yuri towards the dense trees in the southern Maria region. They kept running until Jimmy and his gang were no longer chasing them.

Because of the blow to Haruka's hand, they decided to stop for a moment to halt the bleeding.

"Let's put her under this giant tree," Yuri said, panting.

"Isn't this the tree that Grandpa Yagami talks about so much?" Haruka asked while in pain.

"Yes, see what makes it special and why it's so massive," Yagami answered.

"Never mind that now, Yagami. Put her under the tree. I'll look for some clean fabric and paper to stop the bleeding," Yuri said. As Haruka lay near the tree, her blood droplets seeped into the tree trunk gradually. Yuri successfully stopped her bleeding.

"Okay, we need to go back. Your dad will start asking about you," Yagami said coldly. As they prepared to return, something astonishing happened, leaving the three of them in awe. The tree seemed to be opening up, revealing a small cavity where something was growing larger.

"Oh my God, what is this?" Yuri exclaimed in surprise. Suddenly, without even appearing surprised, they heard Jimmy and his gang approaching.

"Alright, we need to hurry back," Yagami said calmly.

"But, Yagami, don't you want to know what's happening here?" Haruka asked, puzzled.
