Chapter 9 - 9. One Day Adventure!

The next day arrived, and Yuru was filled with a mix of excitement and trepidation. It was the day she would finally leave the palace and venture into the outside world, something she had yearned for. Nami, her elder brother, Kael, and Cedric stood beside her, ready to accompany her on this journey.

Yuru was eager to set off, and she was about to take her first step forward when Nami stopped her with a gentle hand on her shoulder. He held up a disguise, and with practiced hands, he began to alter Yuru's appearance.

As Nami adjusted the disguise, Kael couldn't help but offer a reassuring smile to Yuru. "You look great, Princess Yuru. No one will recognise you."

Cedric chimed in, adding, "Indeed, this disguise is impeccable. It's a useful skill you've learned, Nami."Nami nodded in acknowledgment. "I've had some practice."

Once Yuru's transformation was complete, Nami guided her outside, where the royal caravan awaited them.

---

As they left the palace and reached the outskirts of the capital, Yuru's eyes lit up with amazement. The landscape unfolded before her, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills, sprawling mountains, and a picturesque river they crossed. The royal caravan continued its journey, leaving the Royal Palace far behind.

Yuru admired the beauty of the natural world around her, her face radiating excitement and joy. Observing his sister's elation, Nami turned to her and inquired, "Is there anywhere specific you'd like to go, Yuru?"

(Somewhere I would like to go? I didn't actually thought about that. I was unsure that I would be able to leave the Palace.)

Yuru, however, found herself at a loss for an answer. She was unfamiliar with the region, and her preference for solitude meant she had little interest in towns or villages. She replied with a contented smile, "This is more than enough for me. I love the scenery, and I'm not very keen on interacting with people."

(It's more like I hate interacting with people, but I can't say that out loud or I won't say that out loud.)

Cedric joined in, supporting Yuru's choice. "A wise decision, Princess Yuru. Enjoying the serene beauty of nature is a rare pleasure."

"Yes! I do like the calmness of it." Yuru said. "Seeing green everywhere makes me calm and feel relaxed."

(When I try to remember my past memories, there's nothing I can remember of this sort. All I can remember is seeing grey and crimson everywhere but never green. I can't remember the reason for it, and maybe that's also a reason I'm enjoying this.)

Kael concurred, "Indeed, Your Highness. Sometimes, solitude can be a great source of joy."

Nami considered her response and then said, "Alright, I'll take you to a place you'll appreciate. There you may see some people but I'm sure you'll like it."

---

After a while of traveling, they arrived at the place that Nami had in mind for Yuru. It was a charming countryside village, nestled amidst idyllic scenery. The houses were crafted from logs, giving the village a rustic and picturesque appearance.

(Wow! this place looks Soo aesthetic, it's like this is from an RPG game or something.)

"Wow! this place looks beautiful" Yuru said appreciating it. Yuru couldn't help but wonder how Nami had discovered this place, so she decided to inquir. Nami explained, "I come here occasionally to escape the pressures of royalty and relax. The villagers here don't treat me as someone of superior status. They're friendly and treat me like one of their own."

(Villagers treats him like a normal person and he likes that. Does he not like the royalty, does he want to become a commoner? Won't he be the next King?)

Kael nodded in agreement, adding, "It's a peaceful place where you can truly experience the tranquility of the countryside."

"Have you been here before Kael?" Yuru inquired. Kael replied with, "No! this is my first time here. I was just appreciating it."

Cedric chimed in with a warm smile, "Princess Yuru, you're in for a delightful experience. This village is a hidden gem."

"Is that so." Yuru replies. "Yes princess Yuru, I was the one who first brought Prince Nami here. You see this village is my hometown." Sir Cedric explained.

Nami believed that Yuru would appreciate this place because, in this village, her disguise wouldn't be necessary. Here, she could experience a different kind of freedom.Yuru smiled appreciatively, grateful for Nami's thoughtful choice.

(ohh! finally I can remove my disguise it's so uncomfortable to wear. But I still wonder why I need this disguise in the first place.)

As Yuru removed her disguise, the villagers couldn't help but cast admiring glances at her, appreciating her youthful appearance and undeniable cuteness.
