Su Junhao swept his gaze lightly over her and asked, "Where's Yanyan?"
When Angel saw that the moment he woke up he was asking about Jian Yanyan, a dark glint flashed in her eyes. She clenched her teeth, then said a bit awkwardly, "Her? When you guys were fighting, she just ran off somewhere, no idea where she went. Probably got scared. Any girl would be scared seeing that kind of scene. Later I called the police, and that's how you got sent to the hospital."
Su Junhao wasn't that muddled; it wasn't like he'd been unconscious the whole time. He remembered that before coming to the hospital, back in the apartment, he'd still seen Jian Yanyan. So that meant Angel was lying.
His gaze turned a bit cold as he looked at Angel, and he asked again, "Where's Yanyan?"
Angel probably also realized that Su Junhao hadn't been completely out in the apartment; he'd even reached out, wanting to caress Jian Yanyan's face.
So she switched to another story.
