Jian Yanyan said, "How about we just ram the door open?"
The leader said in surprise, "That would put the hostage in danger."
Jian Yanyan's mouth twitched again as she said, "There's no danger. If you don't hurry up and get that door open and separate those two, that's when it'll really be dangerous."
"Miss, the criminal is holding a hostage. If we force the door, we might provoke him and he could kill the hostage." The leader was genuinely concerned about the hostage's safety.
Jian Yanyan said awkwardly, "Kill what hostage? Someone's in there trading blows with Young Master Su. Get in there and separate them. There's no hostage situation or anything like that."
The officer looked at Jian Yanyan, then at Angel, as if trying to judge which of them was telling the truth.
Angel gave a light cough and said, "It's like she said."
The officer frowned. "And you didn't say so earlier."
Then he turned to the SWAT officers behind him and said, "Ram the door open."
