Getting a regional manager to resign is no simple task, especially when the issue hasn't been thoroughly investigated to determine who's at fault.
Kasper Edith hung up the phone again. Across from him, Olivia Parker put down her book.
"If you're finished, let's go. I've agreed to meet Reese Harris at noon, and it's already past eleven. It'll take at least half an hour to get from here to the Croatia Restaurant where we agreed to meet."
Kasper Edith stood up and picked up the bags that had been placed beside him.
The two of them sat in the elevator together to head down again, and he turned his head to look at Olivia Parker beside him.
"I want to know, how do you manage to control your emotions?"
Olivia Parker turned her face, "I never control them. I just rarely get angry at anyone. Punishing yourself for someone else's mistake is a foolish thing."
Kasper Edith raised an eyebrow, "Are you calling me foolish?"
