Chapter 962 - CHAPTER 967: One Sneak Attack After Another

"This is just wonderful!" Isaiah said. If Salas was really going to join them, they would have a much better chance against the Dhaka Trio. After all, the formations in Pandemonium weren't going to keep the three of them trapped forever, so they needed to make as many preparations as possible to face him.

Isaiah secretly gestured to Regis and Miller to help Salas destroy Wasir. Even though Wasir alone was unlikely to interfere with their plans, they still felt a little uneasy about letting an enemy Overgod roam free. Killing him would be much better.

"Haha, Wasir, oh, Wasir... I asked you to leave early, but you didn't listen. Don't complain later!" Regis said as he suddenly lunged at Wasir like a bolt of rainbow lightning.

Regis and Salas both cultivated Lightning Energy. Trapped between them, Wasir had little chance of escaping. Miller watched carefully from the sidelines, not wanting to join in. Instead, he turned his gaze to the only possible avenue of escape for Wasir. His cunning mind was already thinking of ways to block Wasir's escape route.

Wasir darted away in a panic. Surrounded by the three of them, he felt a little uneasy. The impressive frosty aura around him seemed to fade.

Regis smiled even more as he began to look down on Wasir, an overgod who wasn't willing to give his all in a fight. Someone with such an attitude couldn't be that powerful. The moment Regis thought that, he stopped treating Wasir like an equal. He shot a blinding bolt of lightning from his palm, forcing Wasir to flee helplessly.

At that moment, Salas turned into a bolt of lightning and rammed into Wasir. Then a lightning bolt wrapped around his hand pierced Wasir's chest, causing him to spit out a stream of blood.

"Haha, I didn't think this would ever happen to you, Wasir," Salas said before delivering another punch to the face, sending Wasir flying towards Regis. "Regis, send him to the afterlife!"

Regis thought Wasir was already injured. The lightning sparks crackling from his body suggested that he was injured to the point that he could no longer resist. "Alright!" Regis agreed heartily, thinking that Wasir wasn't at all impressive for his defences to have been broken so easily.

Isaiah watched the whole fight and found it strange. He hadn't thought that Wasir couldn't withstand a single blow and would fall almost instantly to the teamwork of Salas and Regis.

On the other hand, Miller was smiling and had lowered his guard. Wasir no longer seemed to be able to escape.

Then everything changed. Bone chilling frost came from the supposedly incapacitated Wasir, instantly freezing the unprepared Regis, who was about to launch a deadly attack. Now he was nothing but a giant statue of Frost.

"Not good!" Isaiah no longer cared about Han Shuo being absorbed by the soul sphere and charged straight in.

Miller's expression also changed as he charged at Regis. "Salas, you're so dead!"

"Hehe!" Salas giggled.

Suddenly, the bloody and battered Wasir turned and moved out of Salas' way. A gigantic frost hammer appeared in his hand before he smashed it hard against the frozen Regis. At the same time, Salas sent a bolt of lightning down from the sky at Regis's head.

Crunching sounds of Regis' bones breaking rang out as blood gushed from his arm and leg joints. As the ice cracked and shattered, Regis' eyes glazed over. Two streams of blood ran from his nose to his chest. It had only taken one blow for him to be completely incapacitated.

"Salas, you're tired of living, aren't you?" Isaiah roared as earth energy poured into his arms, making them tonnes heavier. He seemed like a mountain now.

"Sick of life? I think you're the one who is!" Salas snapped as he turned to Wasir, who was wiping the blood from his mouth. "Who do we get first?"

"Miller!" Wasir said.

Without the slightest hesitation, Wasir and Salas flew towards Miller. He was a Wind Cultivator, so his attack and dodging speed was much better than theirs. Although he had reacted a little slower than Isaiah, he was actually closing the distance to Regis faster than Isaiah.

"Shameless fool, you wouldn't be able to defeat anyone without relying on sneak attacks!" Miller said before slowing down. He decided to let Isaiah take the brunt of their attacks first.

It was clear that Regis had only lost because of the sneak attack, otherwise there was no way he could have been taken out so easily. Miller knew then that the two of them were incredibly sneaky and wouldn't fall for the same trick again.

However, something unexpected happened. Miller would never guess that it was all part of a larger plan. Beneath Miller, a crack appeared in the colourful wall of the secret chamber. From it, an astrarium glowing with arcane energies shot towards Miller, instantly giving him the feeling that he was standing in the centre of an infinite void. It was as if his soul had lost control of his limbs.

Miller was faced with the threat of his sinking soul, in addition to Wasir and Salas. Knowing how dire his situation was, he gathered all the wind divine energy he had accumulated during his long years of cultivation and quickly formed layer upon layer of wind barriers around him.

A bone spear shot out from the secret chamber below, instantly gathering every element of death in Pandemonium. At that moment, even the weakest element of death seemed to be imbued with life as it danced around the tip of the spear as it pierced through the barriers Miller had erected as if they were nothing, before finally exposing him to Salas.

"Get away!" Isaiah shouted as he charged at Miller as fast as he could.

Suddenly, a terrifying, insidious force shot out from behind Isaiah. Shocked, he turned back quickly before he could save Miller.

A red palm full of killing intent came down with an explosive force that sent Isaiah flying. Blood spurted from him, forming a light drizzle.

"How could that be?!" he shouted in utter disbelief and horror. Han Shuo giggled in front of him, but there was another Han Shuo down there, still petrified thanks to the soul sphere.

"Aaaagh..." Miller cried weakly as he fell from the sky like a deflated balloon.

Another hole opened up in the wall of the secret chamber, from which three giant bloody claws emerged and grabbed Regis, Isaiah and Miller. They were then shoved into the hole in the colourful wall, mending it completely and leaving no trace of the damage they had done.

"And that's it!" said the Han Shuo who had surprised Isaiah before shooting a beam at the glowing soul sphere below.

Immediately, the orb shattered, allowing the strange light from within to escape. The other Han Shuo's eyes flashed as he opened his mouth and sucked the light back in. Not a single memory that had been scraped from his soul was lost. After that, this body of his smiled and assimilated back into the main body.

"Isaiah, Miller and Regis - three elites of the Godhunter Alliance..." Han Shuo laughed and looked at Han Hao as he came out of the secret chamber. "Since you want to take over the Godhunter Alliance, I'll keep them alive for now. After this battle is over, we'll have more than enough ways to make them submit."

"Thank you, Father!" Han Hao said, picking up his bone spear.

The three bloody hands that had stuffed the three Hegemons into the wall turned back into Yuan energy and returned to the Sky Annihilation Formation. Much of the yuan energy from the large secret chamber below also flowed back to various parts of Pandemonium, leaving only a small portion in the cells holding Isaiah, Miller and Regis.

"Thank you, you two. I didn't think you were that talented. Even I almost fell for the show myself!" Han Shuo praised as he turned to Wasir and Salas.

Wasir seemed a little embarrassed by the praise. He pointed at Ossora, who was still fighting Asser to the death, and asked, "What should we do with him?"

"He is the one who most deserves to die," Han Shuo hissed.
