I walked in the meeting room and took my place at the table and waited for others to come, soon the boardroom was full, and we were now just waiting for the CEO. Mr. Russo walked in and looked in my direction before he took a seat and we started the meeting. Thank goodness this meeting came to an end, I was getting tired from it; we stood up and started to collect our things.
"Ms. Marino can you come to my office?" I heard Mr. Russo say, and then he walked out.
I exchanged glances with Alex and went to his office; I guess now is the time that I act like I don't know what he is talking about. I walked inside his office and found him standing looking out the window. I must say that the view in his room is quite good.
"Sir you called for me." I said as I walked in.
"Is the door closed?" He asked still looking out.
"Yes sir." I replied feeling nervous all of the sudden.
"Why are you nervous?" He asked.
"I'm not nervous sir. No sir I just don't know why you called me." I replied.
"You are the Marketing Director appointed by my father, so it is normal for me to call you." He spoke.
"Yes sir." I replied.
"On the other hand, I think you know perfectly well why I called you." He said and not seeing his face I couldn't figure out what he is talking about.
"I don't know sir." I spoke.
"Oh, I think you know." He said and finally turned around since I stepped in the room.
"No, sir I don't know." I spoke.
"You're sure about that?" He asked me and started to stalk towards me.
"Yes sir." I said and he walked behind me and stopped I stood frozen in place.
"Do you remember what happened last Friday night." He asked and I felt air leaving my lungs at that moment.
"No sir." I managed to get an answer out.
"Are you sure you about that." He said and moved my hair to one side and whispered in my ear.
"You really left an impression on me, and I am not easily impressed." He said and played with the strand of my hair.
"I don't know what you are talking about." I said and moved away from him.
"Really now don't tell me you forgot about it already." He said walked closer I walked backwards.
"I really don't know what you are talking about." I said walking backwards I felt the wall behind me.
"Although it is normally me that pretends nothing happened, I suddenly don't like the fact that you forgot." He said and trapped between him and the wall.
"Sir, this is not appropriate." I said trying to push him away.
"How dare you leave and act like nothing happened between us?" He asked and I could sense the anger in him. He took my hands that was trying to push him and pinned above my head.
"Sir it was just a one night stand we are both adult and I was drunk that night otherwise I would never have slept with you." I said and tried to break free.
"So, you do remember." He said with amusement in his eyes and let go of my hands.
"And why wouldn't you sleep with me? Is there something wrong with me?" He asked.
"No, sir it is just that I know that I am not your type and we were both drunk so I know that you would never have slept with me." I replied looking elsewhere.
"How do you know what my type is?" He asked me and took a seat on the couch in his office and looked at me, I felt like a school child in a principal's office.
"When you go to events you always have a slim blonde by your side and I am not a blonde neither am I slim." I said the last part in a low voice.
"So, if you are not my type why would I sleep with you in the first place?" He asked and crossed his legs, his chin on his hand and looked at me with mischievous eyes.
"Maybe because you were drunk." I said as a matter of fact.
"Do you think that I would be so drunk to the point where I don't know who I sleep with? Whether you are my type or not is something that I can decide and right now I can't help but want you more." He said and walked towards me.
"Sir, why don't we just forget about that night and pretend it never happened?" I suggested.
"Can you bare to forget such night? I never knew you could be so wild." He said and started to trail kisses down on my neck.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and started sucking my neck.
"Sir, stop!" I said in a breathless tone, how can I forget that night, it was the best; now I knew why in the office women were eager to sleep with him.
"Sir we can't do this in the office." I said and pushed him slightly.
"You dare to push me!" He said with anger in his voice.
"No, but sir we are still in the office." I said and fixed my shirt.
"Go back to work but remember this. Wait for me after work." He said and walked to his desk.
I nodded and went out; I walked back to my office. On my way to the office, I bumped into Alex, and she let out a gasp.
"What is it, Alex?" I asked.
"Have you seen yourself in the mirror?" She said and pulled me to the toilet.
When I looked into the mirror I got the shock of my life, my neck had a hickey that was visible for everyone to see, what was he a vampire?
"If I may ask, how did you get that huge hickey on your neck?" Alex asked.
"Well, he remembers and refuse to forget about it." I replied.
She took off her scarf that she was wearing and handed over to me.
"So, are you guys like dating now?" She asked, as I wrap the scarf around my neck
"I don't think so, I think because I pretended that we didn't sleep together sparked an interest in him." I said as we walked out of the bathroom.
"Good for you, you managed to bag the hottest man in this country. I think you are going to be hated soon in this office, after all you know how much the women in this office have been wanting to sleep with and you my dear friend has done it." She said and raised her hands in the air.
"You make it sound like it is something I should be proud of?" I said grabbing her hands from the air.
"Well, you should be after all who knows maybe you two might end up falling in love." She said as we walked into my office.
"You know love is the last thing on my mind right now." I spoke.
"Aurora, you need to forget out the past, he might be what you need." She said and took a seat.
"What about him? Do you think that he wants a relationship? No! I just excite him in the moment and once he gets bored, he will leave and I will be the one left to pick up the pieces. We work in the same company imagine how awkward it is going to be." I said thinking of the possibility.
"I really feel for you, first punishment from your brothers now your boss." She said and sighed.
"Speaking of my brothers, you one of them is going to pick me up and Russo said I should wait for him after work." I said and rolled my head back.
"Which brother is it." She asked.
"Aiden!" I said and sighed.
"Well, you're fucked Aiden always acts like your father no matter what excuse you use you cannot stop him from coming here today." She said, which was true Aiden would come no matter what excuse I use.
When Aiden first started to date Samantha, mom and dad went to an event and the rest of the brothers went to hang out with their friends I was supposed to be home alone, but no Aiden wouldn't have and dragged me to the date with him. I felt so akward and uncomfortable after all who wants to be a third wheel on her brother's date.
