Kui gazed upward at the small clouds of sandy dust slowly drifting down around him. The debris was still settling from the earlier collapse, floating lazily through the water before eventually disappearing into the darkness below.
The secret passage didn't look particularly stable either.
The walls were old, and although they had remained standing so far, Kui couldn't help but remember the violent collapse from earlier. If something similar happened here and the rocks above them came tumbling down, there would be nowhere for them to escape. The narrow passage would become a trap, and the two of them would most likely be crushed beneath the falling rocks.
'If this passage exists, then there must be a way to exit this place as well…'
With that thought in mind, Kui took a deep breath and began swimming deeper into the darkened passage.
"Kui! Wait! Kui!"
Aok's panicked shouts immediately came from behind him.
