Suddenly, the water around them began to tremble.
A deep vibration travelled through the entire stream, racking through the water and making the rocky ground beneath them shudder. Kui felt the movement against his skin, and the sudden change made him instinctively tense.
Aok's eyes widened as he immediately looked around, trying to understand what was happening.
The entire wall had been weakened by his continued assault. The countless punches he had thrown into the rock had finally taken their toll, and now the cracks spreading across the surface were widening rapidly.
Then, with a deafening rumble, the wall collapsed.
Huge chunks of rock broke loose and came tumbling down from above, crashing into the stream and sending clouds of sand and debris billowing through the water. Rocks fell in every direction, making it impossible to see clearly. The water around them quickly became murky, and neither of them could find a safe place nearby.
Aok reacted immediately.
