It was really, really stuck.
Kui tried yanking his hand free, but the moment he pulled, his arm scraped against the jagged edges of the rock that was collapsing around him. Sharp pieces dug into his skin, leaving several small cuts along his arm. He hissed in pain, but the tightening walls gave him no room to maneuver.
"Kui!"
Aok panicked the moment he saw the pain on Kui's face. He immediately tried to pull Kui's hand out himself, but when he saw how badly the sharp rocks were scraping against his arm, he quickly stopped.
The wall had to go.
Aok turned toward the rocky surface and began punching it manically. Each strike sent vibrations through the stone, creating ripples through the water as dust and sand erupted from the cracks. He kept hitting it again and again, refusing to stop despite the rocks cutting into his own hands.
