Some time went by but nothing happened.I had accepted my fate but the beast stopped moving altogether. The imagined attack from the beast which causes my death never occured.
Did I imagine the beast ? Was I so impressed by godzilla that I started imagining it even in another world ? The loud sound and the shaking of the ground was not something I hallucinated was it.
After some contemplation I slowly opened my eyes but to my surprise the beast was still there but now it was standing still. The beast was not doing anything. If I was still on earth I would have thought that someone had played a prank on me by keeping this terrifying beast statue infront of me. But it was not earth and I had even seen it move previously.
Though it was not moving its body at all there was movement on its eyes. Its eyeball were darting in various direction.
The beast's eyes were moving here and there frantically like it was searching for something. Something precious. So precious that it made such a beast make a move.
Suddenly the beast moved, its head facing east and stared there for some time. It was staring at that direction intently for awhile. It seemed like the beast had found what it was looking for at that direction and it moved taking its huge steps towards east.
Its steps were so huge that it made my hear leap from its position. It moved with such vigor, ignoring all the vegetation on its way. Huge trees fell living the land looking like a bald man's head. Some hairs missing from various spots. Everytime it took a step some unfortunate tree would get knocked down and little trees would suffer a lot. Looking at the fallen trees made me feel a pang of sadness. It was like looking at the death of my own bretheren. Would other trees would feel the same if I was also trampled by the beast, I highly doubt that.
I was scared shitless. If I was a human, I would have buckets full of sweat from fear and nervousness. Even the sight of the beasts shadow was fear inducing.
After the beast was totally out of the sight, I laughed. I laughed hard as I was happy to be alive and not having to die for a second time. I was happy that the spot where I had been was not on the path of that beast. If I had been more conspicious, the beast would have surely trampled me wouldn't it. It was better to be out of that beasts radar.
After the beast left, I questioned myself. What would a normal human do after such an encounter ?Searching answers to such questions was really hard as everyone has their own way of dealing with such bizzare incident. Was such things that just happened a normal thing in this planet. A question hard to answer, better be left for the future me to contemplate.
" What was that ? " I questioned. This time the question was directed to the mechanical voice. I was itching to learn about the beast from the moment it appeared. But being afraid to attract its attention, I suppressed my curiosity.
A FEROCIOUS BEAST NOT NATIVE TO WARKINELS...
As expected I got a reply from the mysterious mechanical voice but rather than satisfying me, the answers it gave confused me to the core.
" NOT NATIVE TO WARKINELS " What did it even mean !? Was it like us that came to this planet. Was it a player that got so strong that they became a godzilla. If it was a player that transformed into godzilla then it would make sense. Many of my fellow earthsmen would surely like to transform into something like that.
USER LEVEL TOO LOW... INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE....
The mechanical voice sounded again but the answer was something that I did not want hear even if I was somewhat expecting it. The mechanical voice had been reminding me of my place time and again.
" What was the beast doing here ? " I asked again. This time I expected the voice to answer without reminding me of my low level.
THE BEAST WAS SEARCHING A PLACE TO ADVANCE TO ITS NEXT FORM.....
My curiosity got the best of me after the mechanical voice answered my question and emboldened I asked it one more questions "How did it notice me ?". I wanted to know why this beast had specifically looked at me. There were a lot of little plants here. Why was I the one that made it look so closely.
PLAYERS HAVE DIFFERENT KIND OF AURA .... THIS AURA CAN BE PICKED UP BY OTHER BEASTS OR PLAYERS WITH HIGH LEVEL....
So thats the reason the beast was intrigued by me . So if I had grabbed it attention to such degree then why did it not do anything to me ? It just took a look and left like it was not even acknowledging my presence.
KILLING USER HAD NO BENEFIT FOR THE BEAST.....
I.... I was out of words. What the mechanical voice said made sense to some extent. Killing a measly sapling probably would not do any good to the beast and it would only be delayed from its goal. If it did not have any other goal then it would have crushed me just out of boredom.
The other thing that consfused me was that the mechanical voice would give some plausible answers to some questions. But flat out refuse answers to some questions by saying " level too low ". It would happily quench my curiosity but anything more it would refuse.
TOO MUCH INFORMATION IS SOMETIMES HARMFUL.....
I was just thinking to myself but the mechanical voice like a nosy neighbor read my thought and gave a condesending answer.
I got the answer but was the mechanical voice mocking me ? Why was it saying too much information is harmful. Was it motivating me to get stronger or was it just making fun of me. I could not understand how this mechanical voice worked.
There was a famous saying "ignorance is bliss" back on earth too. After giving it some thought I understood that I was too weak to even know anything so I stopped overthinking and started to focus on gathering energy in order to level up.
My priority was to get stronger. And make the mechanical voice yield to my might. I would surely squeeze the answers out of it eventually.
