Chapter seventeen:
"Boba Fett will lead the 501st on an assault in the facility." Said the commanding officer through his comlink.
"All right troops, Boba Fett was speaking through a comlink device. "Everyone fan out across the landing docks." Said Boba Fett. The trooper's did what they were ordered.
"I just hope that Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala opens up the security doors before all of the troops die." Boba Fett thought to himself.
A Clone Troopers head rolled across the ground at Boss's feet. "I want this area cleaned up Deltas." Said Boss.
Cale Lestin and Padme Amidala was on the computers looking through the network trying to find the control room. "Delta squad." Padme Amidala yelled. The Delta squad formed around Padme Amidala in a matter of seconds.
"The center of the facility is located here. I want Boss, Sev, and Fixer to get a sample of the cloning DNA and go to the control room, while Scorch and I destroy the cloning room." Said Padme Amidala.
"Yes ma'am, they responded. Fixer, Sev, and Boss were already down the hall by the time Cale and Padme stood up.
"Let's go Scorch." Said Cale Lestin.
Boba Fett was talking through the headset to a Commander onboard the Eclipse. "Our reinforcements are down by twenty. Emperor Palpatine will not be happy Bounty Hunter." Said the Commander.
"Listen up Commander." Boba Fett said sarcastically. "Emperor Palpatine put me in charge personally. So if you have a problem with the way I work then take your complaints to Emperor Palpatine." Said Boba Fett.
Boba Fett turned off his comlink, and pissed as hell. "Maybe I should just leave the troopers here to die." He thought.
Although he did like Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala.
"Strong, passionate, and loyal. Just the way I like them." Boba Fett thought to himself.
Cale Lestin deflected another blast towards a Clone trooper and slashed the first two. Just around the corner is the Cloning room. Suddenly Cale Lestin felt a disturbance in the Force.
He turned around to see a Clone trooper with a chain gun then they saw Scorch about to get shot by the trooper. Cale Lestin Force Jumped in front of Scorch and centered himself with Force Barrier.
With a few flicks of his bladed purple lightsaber the blast were deflected back at the Cloning droid. One had somehow managed to get past his purple lightsaber and wounded Scorch in the leg. Cale Lestin turned around to see Scorch on the floor holding his leg, blood gushing from it.
"Leave me Darth Zeth. It's only a flesh wound I'll get over it." Said Scorch.
Cale Lestin was heading to the door when he remembered. "No this is what the old me would have done. Not the Jedi that I have become." Cale Lestin said to himself.
Cale Lestin then healed Scorch's leg with Force Heal and threw him over his shoulders. "Darth Zeth just set me down if you don't you will certainly be killed." Said Scorch.
"Then I'll take that chance." Replied Cale Lestin.
When Cale Lestin entered the room, Cale Lestin ignited his purple lightsaber and deflected the blasts, while he did this he used Force Grip to grab the thermal detonators on Scorch's belt and threw them at the cloning pods and the life support system.
The machines blew up taking a couple of the Clone Troopers with them. Scorch started to speak to Boss through his comlink. "Delta squad I've been hit. We need back up. Repeat we need back up." Said Scorch.
"07 go help 62." Said Boss.
"Right away boss." Replied 07.
Boss then turned to Fixer. "Let's finish this demolition Delta." Said Boss.
"Yes, sir." Replied the Delta squad.
As Cale Lestin and Padme Amidala walked out of the door they saw Sev running towards them. "Are you alright Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala?" Asked Sev.
"Yes soldier. Where is Delta 38?" Asked Padme Amidala.
"He's still in the center room Padme." Replied Sev.
"Then stop talking and give us some cover fire." Said Cale Lestin.
They walked up the hallway while Padme was shooting the Clone Troopers behind them with her E5- blaster rifle. When they arrived to the control room it was already demolished. "Good to see you Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala." Said Boss.
"Did you get the cloning samples that I asked for?" Asked Cale Lestin.
"Yes." Replied Boss.
Fixer was over at a barely working console and said. "Bad news the Clone Troopers have found where we are and are sending hundred troops this way." Said Fixer.
Sev walked over and gave some bacta to Scorch. Scorch got on his feet and lifted his rifle.
"Why is it that we always get the hard jobs?" Asked Scorch.
"Because were the best of the best Delta." Said Boss.
"If I'm going out, it's with a bang." Said Scorch.
Padme Amidala then said to all of them. "Scorch is right this is where we make our stand. Our last stand. I want to die with E5- blaster rifle in my hands. What about you?" Asked Padme Amidala.
They all replied. "Yes ma'am."
