Chapter fifteen:
Emperor Palpatine raised the crimson red lightsaber and stared at the whole he had made. It was millimeters away from Cale's body. "What's wrong with me?" Said Emperor Palpatine.
He started to remember the past battles that he and Darth Zeth had. Darth Zeth was the same as Emperor Palpatine was and he would find find out why that is. Besides he couldn't kill him yet. If he was to destroy Darth Plagueis and seize the Empire he would need him. "I will kill him after I have seized the Empire." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Emperor Palpatine walked over to the bed that Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala was sleeping on.
He grabbed the mattress and flipped it over. Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala jumped up with a start. "Good your up. It's time to start your training. Prepare to hate me more than you've ever known." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"I already hate you for waking me up so early." Replied Cale Lestin.
"Good than were half way there." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"Thank you for the information General Veers." Said Darth Plagueis. The link was then cut. "It seems that Marrok failed me. At least the First Brother died on Tatooine because if he didn't I would make death seem like a paradise." Darth Plagueis said to himself.
A holo image of Emperor Palpatin, Cale Lestin and Padme Amidala appeared before Darth Plagueis. "You wish to speak to me Master?" Asked Emperor Palpatine.
"Ah, I see you have your apprentice and Padme Amidala beside you today Lord Sidious." Said Darth Plagueis.
"Yes Master a Navy vessel found them." Replied Emperor Palpatine.
"Well that's good they can accompany you on your next mission." Said Darth Plagueis.
"To Kamino Master?" Asked Emperor Palpatine.
"Yes it seems my speculation was correct." Said Darth Plagueis.
"If I train Cale for at least one more week Master she would become a great asset." Replied Emperor Palpatine.
Darth Plagueis sighed and said. "I will allow it."
Emperor Palpatine nodded a thank you and Darth Plagueis cut his link. Emperor Palpatine stood up and told Cale to stand. "I want you to watch this recording." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"I want to know if you think you could keep up with these two in battle." Replied Emperor Palpatine.
The monitor switched on and Cale saw Emperor Palpatine speaking Master Yoda. After watching the battle Emperor Palpatine turned to her. "Do you think that you could keep up with them Darth Zeth?"
"No they are to fast for me." Replied Cale Lestin.
Emperor Palpatine turned his head to look at the screen. "Do you think that I am incompetent?" Emperor Palpatine asked Cale Lestin.
"What?" Replied Cale Lestin.
"Darth Zeth you may not have the power yet but you will. Someday you will rise up and destroy me." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"Master I would never." Replied Cale Lestin.
Emperor Palpatine interrupted her once again. "Darth Zeth have you ever heard of the Sith'ari?" Asked Emperor Palpatine.
"No, what is it." Replied Cale Lestin.
"It is a prophecy that a person will be born and lead the Sith to victory. Then one to bring balance to the Force. Master Yoda and everyone else thought that the person it mentioned was Anakin Skywalker. But now it seems that it was talking about two people. Me the one to lead the Sith to victory and then you to bring balance back to the Force by destroying him. But until that time comes I know at least one thing. You are my son." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Cale Lestin stood there in shock. He then fell to his knees. "But what about my father on Batuu?" Cale Lestin asked him.
"He was sterile Darth Zeth. I am your father. Search your feelings Darth Zeth, you know it be true." As Emperor Palpatine said that he walked out of the room with a confused and shocked Cale Lestin behind him.
Cale Lestin then fell to his knees with tears in his eyes. His father on Batuu was so kind and she loved him. Now, to know that he was related to Emperor Palpatine was heartbreaking. As much as Cale liked Emperor Palpatine he couldn't consider Emperor Palpatine a father, and after what he had seen from his Force visions it was hard to like a man who killed the Jedi Order. Maybe if he stayed by Emperor Palpatine's side he could find a way to reawaken Sheev Palpatine.
Emperor Palpatine sat in a chair thinking of what he had just told Darth Zeth. "Maybe I shouldn't have told him." He thought.
Just then the door slid open. Emperor Palpatine stood up from his chair. "How did you meet my mother?" Asked Cale Lestin.
"I never met your mother Darth Zeth." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"What?" Replied Cale Lestin.
"My mind must have sensed that it was changing in the final stages of turning to the dark side and I must have gave some of my essence to you when you were still in your mother's womb. Which took your father's and replaced it with my own." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Cale's eyes grew wide. "It's unbelievableI know, but it's the truth." Said Emperor Palpatine.
There was a silence in the room that seemed to last an eternity. The only thing that could be heard was their breathing. Then Emperor Palpatine finally spoke. "Get ready your training starts now." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"I am ready." Replied Cale Lestin.
After the training session had ended Emperor Palpatine, Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala walked to the ready room. "During this mission to Kamino Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala y'all will lead a squad of Imperial Commandos to sever the security system so our garrison of troopers can invade the complex." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"No offense, master but they will only slow us down." Replied Cale Lestin.
"Maybe, but they have weapons that you and Padme don't have. Meet your new teammates. This is 07 or Sev. 40 or Fixer. 62 or Scorch, and 38 Boss." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"Nice to meet you Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala." Said Scorch as he bowed.
