Chapter 1 - Prologue

In the dark room , the noise of hurried footsteps echoed through the wall . The woman with a long cape dragging behind walked with her back straight and an elegance that reflected in each step she took , even though they were rushed.

All her life she lived with pride. She believed in herself at every decision she took but this time she couldn't grasp what has she done. Unintentionally, she did something so grave for the whole world. She put the entire race of her creation at risk.

She was Agnes, The Creator and Goddess of Vampires .

She never knew her little greed of making someone extraordinary would turn so gruesome. The gates of the room were coated with a yellow color and reflected a golden glow. She pushed open the doors and entered the well lit room. The white light coming from the huge chandelier above reflected the whole room. She blinked her eyed a few times and entered the chambers.

THE CHAMBERS OF SOUL

Reaching out her hand in the air , she chanted a spell and searched for the soul. A silver box with intricated designs emerged from the upper racks of the huge shelves. Opening the lid, she was momentarily blinded by the bright black light radiating from the soul crystal. The brightness itself showed the power and mercilessness of the soul.

How dynamic and cruel..

There's no way she would let such a soul, such a vampire live in peace. This ruthless monster who didn't cared about anyone, whose ruthlessness didn't even spared kids. She would not let a single threat to her children, even if it means destroying one of them. She knew with the power she gave to this vampire she would never be able to kill him but she would not let him happy. She can't let him be happy after the destruction he would cause to every species. An idea lit her mind and she smirked.

Peace and Happiness

Raising her she casted another spell and produced a wand. Keeping that wand on the crystal, she was about to curse it but was interrupted by the voice of her mate. "What are you doing, Agnes?" Turning around and meeting his gaze she spoke truthfully, " I was cursing this vampire to never have a mate." "and why would you do that?" asked the mate perplexed.

Hearing this her gaze turned dark and in a hostile voice she spoke "This vampire doesn't deserve to live in happiness that comes along with a mate. He is not worthy to enjoy the peace in the arms of your beloved. He doesn't deserve a selfless love that only a mate can have." "Who knows when he would kill his mate in a fit of anger." she stated with a roll of eyes. "Agnes, Did you forget how I was before I meet you." The hostile gaze in her eyes freezed when she remembered the past.

" You need to understand Agnes, that the lack of love would only turn him more inhumane. He needs someone who could love him unconditionally, someone whose soul is bright and white a contrast to his. Someone who is merciful and innocent to balance his cruel and cold nature. Someone so kind and sensitive to balance his indifference." he spoke softly.

Heaving a sigh of relief, the goddess again put the wand on the crystal, but this time for a complete different reason.

"Hope Love would be you savior."
